Working Title: Rage
The game will be called “Rage” because of the raging monster running loose through college.
Audience:
My project will be targeted at teenagers, aged 15-18. They will be mainly male but the game will
not be gender specific. The targeted psychographic will be somewhere between achiever,
emulator and needs driven. To make this appeal to those psychographics I will make the main two
characters who are fighting the monster act upon instinct to protect the people in college. To make
it appeal to the age group I will include lots of blood and violence, which is also what males are
into so this will attract them to play/buy the game.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
I have learnt how to created a timeline to create a movie on Photoshop by myself. So now I can
make a movie on Photoshop without the help/assistance of any teachers. This now makes me feel
more independent and smarter about making my work. I also learnt how to move around certain
animations on Photoshop; by creating new layers and using the arrow tool to move them around
the screen wherever you want. I will use these tools for the same/similar purpose in my game. I will
move my characters around.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My game will be called “RAGE”. It is set in college and will follow two characters called Liam and
Todd. Both are friends that are not in a very popular crowd in college. Both are considered nerds
by the popular kids. But one day a strange, yet hideous and angry enormous rage monster, who’s
origins remain a mystery for the entirety of the game. The monster is big, green-like and veiny and
let’s out a ferocious roar. The monster then kills a dozen security guards in its rampage. With
numbers of students now cornered by the monster, Liam and Todd then find two loaded machine
guns and start firing at the monster in attempt to save the students. Liam fires first and Todd fires
second then it repeats. Whilst person fires the other reloads their weapon. Whilst they fire at the
creature it gets closer and closer towards them. Liam and Todd then shoot at the monsters head at
the same time and it blows up(It dies). The students cheer and dance on the monsters ashes.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I will write everything I do in the project as if I am writing down a diary so I can keep track of my
work. This will help me remember what I have done in case I ever need to remember it in any
future projects, since it is very useful information there is a chance that one day I will have to
remember it, so logging it down would be a very ideal thing to do.
