3. Faster than light travel
Faster than light travel is important because it can make us to be able to reach any part of the
universe in a short time
Miguel Alcubierre´s metric (1994)
Alcubierre´s metric consists on warp drive, it is the use of negative energy to
bend spacetime around the vessel and create a warp bubble.
The warp bubble would make the distorsion of space time around the
spaceship, which would move the warp bubble to be able to propulse it at
several times the speed of light (299.792.458 m/s)
Stark Trek made the mexican physicist have this idea.
4. Wormhole or Einstein-Rosen Bridge (1921)
• A wormhole is mostly like a tunnel that makes a shortcut between two very separate points in spacetime,
it might be able to connect extremely far distances.
• To travel through this wormholes there would be a possibility of using negative energy to make them
stable and don´t suddenly close.
• It is dangerous because of the huge preassure of the gravitational force of this wormholes and because
the end of it is unknown and could deliver into a deadly place.
Both of the ideas break the Theory of Relativity, which basically
determines that nothing can move faster than the speed of
light.
5. SPACE RESEARCH BY SATELLITES
Upper atmosphere research satellite: it was a NASA-
operated orbital observatory,who was in charge of
studying the earth´s atmosphere.
Hubble space telescope: It is a low earth orbit space
telescope launched in 1990.it orbits the earth with
a radius of 593km above the sea level.It takes
extremely high resolution pics
INTEGRAL:international gamma-ray astrophysics
laboratory is a nasa and rsa´s space telescope that is
currently operative.It´s main objective is to detect
the most energetic radiation from outer space

Salyut 1 :it was the first space station ever buit launched by the
soviet union. At the second try,the crew spend 23 days inside the
space station, but a disaster happened when the crew tried te
reentry to the earth,sadly they died
Skylab: it was the first american space station.it
comfirmed the existence of coronal holes in the sun.
ISS: is a space station in the low orbit of the
earth.actuelly,it´s the largest artificial body in orbit
