1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? Current Magazine
2. Abode Photoshop Current Throughout the making of my magazine, I used a program called Abode Photoshop. Photoshop allowed me to make a magazine which would look like a real professional published magazine. This task was the first time me ever using Photoshop, therefore I found it quite hard to get started in making the magazine. In the next few slides I will show you the different tools I had to learn to used in making my media project.
3. Current Magnetic Lasso tool I used the Magnetic Lasso tool to cut easily around a photo. I would cut around the photo from a certain background, and then paste it into my magazine so it had no block background with it. I found this very useful in making my magazine but it took me a while to be able to use it right.
4. Typography Current For typography in my magazine I used the horizontal type tool. This allowed me to type and use many fonts inside my magazine. This was extremely useful in making my magazine.
5. Image adjustment tools I used image Adjustment tools such as ‘Exposure’ and ‘Brightness/Contrast’ to enhance my images so they would look professional for a magazine.
7. Blogger Throughout my Media coursework we used Blogger. I used blogger to pull together all my planning and research work, posting post’s on my inspirations for my coursework. My coursework blog wasn't the first blog that I had, as we had a class Blog which we posted work on. To begin with I was apprehensive on using Blogger as I had never used a program like it before, however I found it very easy to get used to it. Blogger was very easy to use as I could quickly publish my posts and edit them if need be. I learnt how to embed video’s into the post’s fairly quickly and I have found that Blogger has been a huge help in my Media coursework.
8. Scribd Scirbd is a website which I could post my word documents onto and then post them onto my blog easily. I used this site when I wanted to get my DPS article on my blog. I was wary at first of the site, as it look complicated, but in the end found it extremely easy to use. Although it was a huge part of my Media experience I was impressed by how I could use it and I found it very easy to use.
9. Slide share Slide Share is a site which you could put slideshows on and then lets me easily put my slides onto my blog. I used Slide share a lot during this task of evaluating. It was a great site for me to use as it meant I could use PowerPoint which allowed me to made clear neat slides for my blog. Over all I found slide share one of the most useful sites during my blogging.
10. Camera Used This is the camera which I used to take my magazine photos which. It is a FUJIFILM camera, and I used it because of the high megapixel and how easy it was to use. I would have preferred to use a more professional camera, but there wasn't was accessible to me when I was taking my shots. In the second photo, it is a photo which was taken with the camera.
11. What I have learnt Over all I have learnt a huge deal in the process of making my magazine. I learnt how to use many programs which before I had no idea how to use before hand, and my confidence grew hugely throughout the course. Using the programs have developed my understanding of how the Media industry works and creates their magazines.
