What have you learnt about new technologies from the process of creating this product?

2. Photohop was a major tool that I used to create my
magazine. I created my front cover, contents page and
double page spread on photoshop. It helped a lot when I
was editing photos of Chanel because her skin colour
needed altered so that she did not appear as orange.
Although I did not end up using the majority of the photos
that I edited it was still very helpful in getting to know how
photoshop worked. I would mainly alter her skin in the
brightness/contrast section in Edit. This section vastly
helped in making my model look a more suitable colour.

3. Blogger has been a very crucial tool in the production of my
magazine, I have used it to post about my progress when
creating my magazine. It also allows me to become a
prosumer, this means that I can produce a media text with
the potential of millions of people and active users of the
internet to see it.

4. I have used Prezi a lot during the production and
evaluation of my media product. I have created
presentations that describe what I have done in detail and
it has made them look easy to read and understand. It has
been a very useful tool because it is relatively easy to use
and it makes my evaluation more exciting to read rather
than just making a normal blogpost on blogger.

5. To create presentations for my production and
evaluation of my magazine I used Emaze. This tool was
very useful because it allowed me to create
presentations that were more interesting to read than a
normal powerpoint.

6. I have used Powerpoint occasionally in my
production and evaluation of my media product. It is
useful for creating presentations because it is easy to
use and it can make your presentations look easy and
interesting to understand. However, I did not use it as
much as I would have if I did not use Emaze.
Personally I think presentations look better on Emaze
but Powerpoint is still very good.

7. I have used SlideShare a handful of times during
my production and evaluation of my media
product. I do find it useful however you have to
create a presentation on powerpoint first so you
can not create anything directly on it.

8. Overall I have learnt that there are many new technologies out there to
make your written work from the production and evaluation of a media
product look more exciting and easier to read. Although most of the tools
I used are easy to use, it was interesting figuring out how each one
worked and it was useful to find shortcuts on Photoshop that really
helped me complete my work quicker and to the best of my ability.
