1. 3. What kind of media institution might distribute your film and why?<br />The possibility of our media production to be produced by a major Hollywood studio would be in fact quite high. I think they would pounce on the opportunity to have something like this in the box office because it gets the audience going with overflowing questions and in a movie that is a good sign since they will be attached to finding out all the possibilities and it will keep going so that they can see if the torturer is, the audience would not know what to expect therefore making this a huge possibility as a major Hollywood product. Also I believe that the making of this film would not be a art house film because there are no real costs to make in this film all that would be needed is a camera, tripod, lightening equipment and an editing room. The company that it might go under is Evolution Entertainment as they produce films like saw, which is similar to our thriller. The selling point of our movie is that it is more realistic and engaging and as gory as normal horror thriller, also the audience will really sympathies and would be really engaged into the movie therefore I believe they would jump at the chance to produce our film. Also our movie is very intellectual and has many plots, and has a grand stand finish, which is very similar to shutter island ending. As the films main character is in denial and in the end realises that he is the one who has committed the horrible crimes. I believe paramount pictures, shutter islands distributors would be interested in distributing our film as the narrative is quite similar, however with our thriller having gory scenes init it might lead to more people watching our film. Also they would make profit on our film as many people like to see horror thriller, even if it isn’t successful, the movie wouldn’t cost much to make therefore the chance of a loss isn’t much, however if the movie is successful then they would make lots of profit. Also like saw our movie is rated 18, and since Evolution Entertainment mostly produce mostly 18 that is another factor in them producing our movie.<br />
