This shows that majority of the people we asked were female, which doesn’t mean that we
were mainly aiming for a female target audience that was just the gender of people which
were in the room on the screening day.
A large percentage of people we asked to watch the film agreed that the film was a
physiological thriller

We did expect this as its family, friends and peers so this could be bias, we won’t really know
until it’s availableto the public on sites such as Vimeo and YouTube.
The people who attended the screening majority of them agreed that the would be targeted
at 19-25 year olds which is what we wanted.

We were surprised to see that the majority thought it was predictable, we could have made it
a little longer, maybe added in a few scenes but we wanted to stick to the conventions of
short films which are 10-15 minutes, if we included these scenes it wouldn’t be a short film.
The results for the question above is definitely surprising as it shows that we have been
successful to an extent in making the film look like it’s set in the evening, the 38% which said
it’s set in the morning/afternoon shows that we need to improve on the colour grading as
we want it to be obvious that it’s set in the evening.

Psychological thriller film screening survey results

This shows that majority of the people we asked were female, which doesn’t mean that we were mainly aiming for a female target audience that was just the gender of people which were in the room on the screening day.   • 2. We did expect this as its family, friends and peers so this could be bias, we won’t really know until it’s availableto the public on sites such as Vimeo and YouTube. We were surprised to see that the majority thought it was predictable, we could have made it a little longer, maybe added in a few scenes but we wanted to stick to the conventions of short films which are 10-15 minutes, if we included these scenes it wouldn’t be a short film. The results for the question above is definitely surprising as it shows that we have been successful to an extent in making the film look like it’s set in the evening, the 38% which said it’s set in the morning/afternoon shows that we need to improve on the colour grading as we want it to be obvious that it’s set in the evening. 71% 29% Was the ending predictable?
