2. Film distribution
A film distribution is getting the film out to the audience. A distribution company will buy a film
either as a pre-sale. Only large budget films will guarantee success, independent companies
often have to hope to find a film buyer acquires the film at a festival. A film distribution will
research date will be decided upon and what forms of marketing, publicity and promotion will
be utilised.
Because our film was based on the thriller film I.T the clown, we thought it was good enough
for it to be broadcasted for public viewing. Using a clown as the murderer has been common
for thriller but hasn’t always been successful, however I felt it worked well in our thriller. Our
storyline would have worked well and grabbed attention if it was to go into the cinemas.

3. YOUTUBE
Youtube is were most low financial movie productions start. Because youtube is a well
known website and many people watch videos from around the world.
However we didn’t have good quality equipment to work with so our opening sequence
was not as good as the ones in cinemas. But if we had the money for professional
equipment then I’m sure our film would be a big hit. Putting our film on youtube and
broadcasting it on well known and used social networking sites would helps us
distributing our media film.
