So it is the most powerful means of non-verbal
communication.

in communication is gestures.
They are the very common and are the
natural movements of our body, specifically,

If the person is resting his body weight on one leg looking up into the sky, it shows
unwillingness.
If the legs are straight and pressed against each other, it may mean that the person feels
uncomfortable.
If the person uses hand clamping the crossed leg, it shows the person has a fixed attitude
towards something.

eyes of a person, we will be able to talk about his
nature or character.
If there is no eye contact during communication if
may show lack of interest.
In the western cultures, looking into speaker’s eyes
generally communicates respect.
11. Four different zones are identified with regard to the space maintenance, namely
1) Intimate
2) personal
3) social and
4) public
1) Intimate : a)The intimate zone extends from actual physical contact to 18inches.
b)This zone is reserved for family members, friends and lovers.
2) Personal :The personal zone includes personal territories like office, house and also
temporary locations like chair in a class room.
3) Social : This is generally maintain in a social gathering and while taking to strangers.
4) Public : speaker in a lecture hall or in a public meeting is in this zone .
