20th century fox !
20th centaury fox was founded on may 31st
1935.20th centaury fox is now one of six major
American film studios as of 2011. Founded in
1913 byWilliam Fox, the studio had begun
producing the famous Movie tone Newsreels
(the precursor of today's network newscasts)
even before they moved to their current
location.
WB !
Warner Brothers, one of Hollywood's most
famous studios, was founded in 1923 by four
actual brothers: Jack, Sam, Harry & Albert
Warner.The siblings never seemed to get
along with each other, butWarner Bros
Studios managed to produce some of the
most memorable movies in the history of
Hollywood.

The film industry is major film companies that
make films as there jobs they include jobs like:
editor-like Michael Kahn
Director- Christopher Nolan
Actor-Ricky Gervais
Actress-JenniferAniston
Producer-Disney
Editor !
The editor is the person that irons out the film
and cuts and adds parts to the film so it looks
like there was no mistakes when the film is
produced.
Michael Kahn /edited such films as Indiana
jones 5,war house, Lincoln.
Director !
The director is basically the manager of the film
because he tells everyone what to do and how
to look and how to do certain things so the
editor doesn't have to do as much work as he
would have too.
Christopher Nolan/batman begins, the dark
knight, the dark knight rises.
Actor !
The actor is a key part of the film making
progress as they play the part of standing in
front of the camera and obvisaly acting out the
scenes.
Ricky Gervais/ Muppets most wanted, night in
the museum 3, escape from planet earth.

The actor is a key part of the film making

Producer !
The producer is the company that advertise the
film to people via tele vision and hand held
devises.They will also fund the film and it=s
making.The producer also has the final say of
who the director is.

The TV industry !
TheTV industry is a main character in
corporation as it is a main component in the
viewing industry.
It gets more viewers than Netflix and the
cinema as it can be viewed on common
household items.
BT !
Bt sport 1 and 2 are channels that only show
sports mostly football and sometimes rugby.
Bt is a company that has brought champions
league rights for 897 million over sky’s 299
million.
Sky !
Sky is aTV company that is basically the main
company as it is well known for the sky box and
using 3DTV.
Sky was formed in 1990 by sky television and
British satellite broadcasting.
BBC !
BBC was formed on 19th December 1932 by
John Reith and George villiers.it is a world wide
produced channel that is watched by billions of
people every year.
Radio !
The radio is there so when you are in your car or
listening to your music you can tune in to your
local radio station to get sports and normal
news and just listen to music this can be very
helpful on the move as you can listen to what
you want too. Each radio station will have
different music playing on each station so you
can listen to rock on one and pop on another.
Key radio jobs !
presenter,
Broadcast assistant,
Radio traffic manager,
Reporter,
Sales executive.
These are all key jobs in the radio industry they
will all be explained on the next few slides.
Presenter !
Radio Presenters are the voice of a station or
programme, whether they work in speech-
based or music Radio.They are responsible for
creating the tone and style of Radio output and
establishing a relationship with listeners. Most
presenters are self-employed, working on fixed
term contracts.Although the greatest
concentration of jobs is found in London and
the South East, Radio Presenters work
throughout the UK.
Broadcast assistant !
Broadcast Assistants work in both speech-
based and music Radio - offering practical
support to Producers and Presenters.They
undertake a wide range of key administrative
tasks to ensure the smooth running of live and
recorded radio programmes, and may also help
with research, planning and production.
Radio traffic manager !
RadioTraffic Managers in Commercial Radio are
responsible for scheduling advertising and
promotions in line with the business strategy of
a radio station or group of stations, in order to
ensure effectiveness and maximise revenue.
The role is only found in Commercial Radio,
although staff and volunteers in Community
radio are also responsible for scheduling radio
advertising and promotions.
Reporter !
The focus of the Reporter's role in Radio is to find
and tell the stories that make up the news or
current affairs output for the station or
organisation for which they work. Reporters may
work for a variety of different outlets, ranging from
single local radio stations to international news
organisations - and their related websites.They
may be part of a small local team, or based in a
regional or national newsroom, or in a foreign
bureau. Some Reporters may also work from
home, utilising broadband and other technology to
supply material to broadcasters or other
employers.
Sales exclusive !
Radio Sales Executives or Account Managers are
responsible for generating the income for
Commercial Radio stations from advertising sales
and sponsorship.This primarily involves selling the
benefits of Radio as an advertising medium, to
both media agencies and individual clients.
The role is only found in Commercial Radio,
although staff and volunteers in Community radio
are also responsible for selling radio advertising.
Online !
Online is a key part to the broadcasting
organisation as they will have admins that will
make pages with likes and they will get so many
likes that they will become a well known
address and then eventually the admin will tell
the page viewers to go and check out a page
like JD sports or something so that it gets more
buyers.
Print !
The newspapers are also a key part to the
advertising industry as people might not have
an iPad or Samsung phone so they have to get
the news and sports through the newspapers
this is good for the elderly as most of them do
not know how to work a phone or tablet.

These are all part of the newspaper works as
they all are key to the organisation.

 Copy editors make sure that a text is
readable, accurate and ready for publication.
They work on publications of all kinds,

magazines.

 Magazine journalists write news articles and
features for all types of publications.These
range from 'glossy' consumer magazines to
specialist trade journals.
Newspaper journalist !
 Journalists seek out news and report it to the
public as quickly as possible.They aim to
present stories in a clear, engaging style.
Proof-reader !
A proof-reader performs a 'quality check' on
publications, usually immediately before they
are issued or go to print.They may work on
books, magazines, newspapers and websites,
as well as specialist publications such as
academic or technical manuals.
Publishing editor !
Publishing editors work in a number of
publishing areas.These include newspaper and
magazine publishing, book publishing and
online publishing. A publishing editor's main
responsibility is for the style and content of the
publication.
