1. Person 1: I really like the idea for your story, I think it is going to go very well
with the lyrics. I like that you have used teenagers in the music video as it will
most likely be watched by teenagers
Person 2: I love that there is a story. I like the idea of having teenager’s rebelling
in the video as it relates to the song without being too literal
Person 3: I like that in some of it you focus on the man singing rather than
having a storyline the whole way through. I think the music video would look
cool if you did some parts in slow motion
2. Person 1: I like that it looks very modern and it looks like you’re going to
include a lot about what it’s like to be a teenager today. I like that there seems
to be a lot of chaos with the drinking, smoking and partying. The only thing I
would change is to maybe get rid of the abandoned buildings as I don’t think it
ties in with the party theme
Person 2: I love that you have added the norms of a teenager today and it’s the
harsh truth about being a teenager with the smoking and drinking rather than
sugar coating the teenage life. I believe that this atheistic will make your music
video appeal to teenagers and young adults
Person 3: I love that you have the juxtaposition of the calm bar with the crazy
party, the contrast makes the music video more interesting.
3. Person 1: I like that you have decided to stay conventional to the indie music
genre by using simple location as this will give it a more DIY vibe that you get in
a typical music video.
Person 2: I love the idea of using slow motion in the more chaotic parts of the
music video such as the party. The song is not a very fast pasted song so having
the slow motion party will help it tie in with the rhythm of the song whilst still
linking to the lyrics. I also like that you have decided to use black and white
filters as well as colour, I think the contrast will make the music video very
appealing.
Person 3: the costumes seem very interesting and tie in with the story you’ve
created in the mood board and the lyric analysis. The type of clothing you have
described fits in with the idea of being rebellious.
