31. High Speed Rail Assessment Phase 3 – South Corridor
- 450-500 km high-speed line from Drammen to Stavanger
▪ A mission carried out in conjunction with the Norwegian National Rail
Administration.
▪ The reports are prepared by a team of Multiconsult and our partner WSP.
32. There are prepared two reports in the mission:
▪ A route report in which pathways and technical solutions for the four
different options are documented through text, maps and illustrations.
▪ An environmental report that documents and compares the impacts of the
various options in relation to landscape, natural environment, cultural,
community and outdoor recreation and natural resources

34. Divide the railway line in the areas of max 30 km length

- 450 to 500 km double track railway from Drammen to Stavanger
▪ Landscape model is based on standard data from Norway digital.
▪ Consists total of more than 100,000 files
▪ Is 35 GB large
▪ Is based on database technology that makes it entirely runs on a standard PC
▪ Terrain model based on a 10-meter grid, DEM-files
▪ Ortho photo approximately 5,000 files
▪ Rail line is based on three different shapefiles, (Surface – Tunnel – Bridge )
▪ 150 to 190 tunnels - Tunnel ratio between 48 and 57%
▪ 130 to 180 bridges / viaducts
▪ Three of the bridges are modeled in more detail

43. Ski Station
▪ is located 24 km south of Oslo Sentralstsjon
▪ Is part of Follobane project. The entire project from Oslo S will significantly
go underground and is estimated to cost 11.6 billion NOK (13 billion SEK).
Together with the existing path on the route will cause a sharp increase in
kapsiteten on the line. Following line designed for 250 km / h and can be
the first stage in a possible high-speed rail to Sweden and Europe.
