Overview:
Technical design of a suspended roundabout above DN1 and
DN73A in Predeal.
A very challenging structure, both in modeling and in
calculating it.
To fasten the job, I created an Excel file that interfaces with
Midas code to automatically setting up the annoying parts and
to generate the load combinations

4. HIGH-SPEED ROAD S19
FEASIBILITY STUDY
Poland
Overview:
Feasibility study for the realisation of the highway segment
Babica – Domaradz. The project includes the excavation of a
10 km tunnel executed through the NATM method.
I dealt with the structural design of the tunnel linings and
with the fire design of the structures, studying an
innovative approach to overcome the simplified methods
proposed for standard structures by Eurocodes.

5. HIGH SPEED ROAD S19
DETAIL DESIGN
Poland
Overview:
Detail design of High Speed Road S19 Rzeszów – Babica.
The project includes the excavation of two 2.2 km long
tunnels, realized with a TBM of 15 m of diameter.
I also dealt with the design of provisional out-of-scale
structures as the 100 x 25 m large foundation of the TBM
thrust frame.

Overview:
Technical design of an overpass above the intersection
between the DN1 and Bulevardul Ferdinand.

infrastructure.

7. OVERPASS IN SOUTH SINAIA
Romania
Overview:
Feasibility study and technical execution design for the
realisation of an overpass at the intersection between the
DN1 and Bulevardul Republicii.
Composite steel-concrete superstructure and reinforced
concrete infrastructure.

CRAIOVA – CARANSEBES
RAILWAY LINE REHABILITATION
Overview:
Feasibility Study for the rehabilitation of a 226 km long
railway line, part of the Orient/East-Mediterranean
Corridor.
In this project I gave my contribute in managing big
quantities of data, by automating processes through VBA
programming.
Keypoints:

Romanian codes
• Visual surveys on existing bridges and report
generation
• Culverts design according to Eurocodes

9. REHABILITATION OF THE RAILWAY LINE
CURTICI - SIMERIA
Romania
Overview:
Detailed Design, As-Built and Technical Assistance in
execution for the rehabilitation of 80 km of railway in
Romania.
In this project I have been involved in the design and
detailing of bridges, provisional and permanent
retaining structures

10. UEM MONACO – ANSE DU PORTIER
PILE FOUNDATION DESIGN
Principality of Monaco
Overview:
Specialized technical consultancy for the
optimization of the design of the foundation piles
for “Anse Du Portier” Project.
Designed by Renzo Piano, built on the sea, it
involves the construction of a peninsula of about 6
hectares which will host a luxurious residential
district.
For this project I created a universal Excel file
which includes all structural checks for the circular
RC sections of the piles.

11. MODERNISATION OF THE RAILWAY
ARAD - TIMISOARA
Romania
Overview:
Tender for the modernization of the railway line Arad –
Timisoara.
In this project I was involved in computing bill of
quantities, keeping continuative contacts with the
construction company.
A railway line about 60 km long requires to manage
big quantities of data, that need to be readily updated
according to the requests of the client in short times.
To achieve this goal, my contribute in automating
processes has been significant
