interruptions.
A.V. Aids: learning will be more satisfactory when
we used A.V. Aids.
Reading material: good library is essential for
ward teaching.
8. HOW TO CONDUCT WARD TEACHING
1. Every class should be well planned and prepared
2. It should not be repetitive of classroom teaching.
3. It should be patient centered, of his illness,
treatment and his responses to nursing care.

to tell what she knows about the client and his

The student who is taking care of the patient for a
week or so, has to present the case to the whole
group of the students.

Types
Case study/ Case presentation:
• The case study describes the life history of an
individual and all the factors which lead to condition
(disease).
• This includes a detail history of patient even prior to
his visit to the hospital , the present situation and
the treatment.
