Act 1:
The filmwill startwithDavidwakingupand goingtothe shower,Daviddecidestopleasure himself
until hisDNA goesdownthe showerdrain.Davidthinksnothingof thisandcontinueswithhisday,
there isthena montage of David’sdaybutsplicedin-betweenhisdayisthe clipof hisDNA going
downthe drain.WhenDavidgets home he goesto hisroomand puts some musicon,he keepson
hearing“father”ina raspy voice comingfromthe bathroom he goesto check itout and realisesit’s
comingfromthe showerdrain.He turnsthe tap on to make the noise stopand a faint“nooooooo”is
heard,Davidiscreepedoutby thisandhas a nightmare aboutitthat night.
Act 2:
Its startswithDavidgettingintobedand goingtosleep,thenhisnightmare begins.He iswalking
roundschool and keepshearingnoiseslikeafishfloppingaboutandsquelchyfootsteps,he gets
scaredand runs intothe toilet.He goestothe back of the room but thenall the lightsgoout and we
see the shadowof the fishcreature comingroundthe corner,Davidlockshimself inone of the stools
but the shadowappearsunderthe doorand a hand with webbed fingersreachesunderthe door
and we hearthe word“father”shoutedDavidscreamsthenwakesup.
Act 3:
Thiswill startwitha title card that says9 monthslaterand thenitwill cutto Davidin a counselling
office,he will be talkingabouthowthe dreamstill hauntshimandthe counsellorwill saytimesup.
Davidthenwalkshome andhears“father” inthe windhe is creepedoutsoruns the restof the way
home.Whenhe getshome he locksthe door and slumpsagainstthe door,whenhe looksuphe will
see the fishmonstercrawlingtowardshimandscream“father”,Davidwill screamandreach forhis
keysbutthe fishmonsterwill be eatingthem.The fishmonsterwill crawl towards Davidandgoesto
bite hisleg,Davidkickshimawayand runsto the kitchen andgetsa broomto protect himself. When
the fishmonstercrawlsthroughthe door Davidwhackshimroundthe headwiththe broominjuring
the monster.Davidthenbeatsthe monsterupuntil isto tired,the monsterthenthrowsupblood
and says“all I wantedwas formy fatherto love me”thenhe diesandDavidcradlesthe monsterin
hisarms and cries.

NRSsocial scale I thinkthat all of the classesupto B wouldwatchand enjoymyfilmbecause it
doesn’trequire acertainintelligencetounderstand,stereotypicallyIwouldn’tsaythatthe upper
classor A wouldenjoyitas theymaythinkthat itis justsillyhumourandnotseriousenough.Iam
alsoaimingitat people formthe ages12-20 as I believe itisquite immaturehumour andIwouldn’t
say that adultsoverthe age of 20 wouldbe entertainedbyafishmonsterattackinga teenager.On
the 4cs scale I wouldsaythat the;struggler,reformerandexplorer,Ithinkthese peoplewillwatch
my filmbecause itisindie andaway to escape the normal humdrumsof life asitis very
exaggerated.
Form andstyle:
I wantto filmthe filmlike anold60’s horror film(suchaspsycho,rosemary’sbabyandthe birds) asI
am goingfor the oldcheesyhorrorlook.I don’twantpeople toactuallybe scaredby the filmasthe
monsterinthe filmisn’tscaryat all if anythingislaughable.Iwantthere tobe a lot of suspense and
a large buildupto the monstersowhenitisrevealedaudiencesare shockedbutnotinthe waythey
expected. I’mnotsure if Iwant itto be blackand white orincolour yet,if I chose blackand white it
wouldgive the filmamore vintage lookbutthenI wouldhave make the audiovintage too. Insome
aspectsI wantthe filmtobe like Shaunof the dead,a horror comedy,as thenI can getaway with
the poor makeupof the monster.
I will mostlikelyjustuse adslrcamera as it doeswhatI needitto do forthe film, Idon’tneedgood
soundstuff as I am makingthe filmsoundold.
Market place:
Thisfilmisa one off and will notneedasequel ora prequel,if Iwere tomake one it wouldbe bad
and notas goodas the original. i thinkdue tothe originalityandoddnessof the filmthatitwoulddo
okayat festivals,andthe shortversionof the filmisalreadyenteredintothe Southamptonfilm
festival.Ithinkthe mainspace itwill be seeninonlinesuchasYouTube or Instagram.
