1) Matthew has a strange nightmare about a monster chasing him in his college. Months later, he is experiencing strange noises and sights that seem related to his nightmare. 2) When Matthew returns home in a panic, his friend Will ignores Matthew's warnings and lets himself in. The monster attacks and kills Will. 3) Matthew finds the weakening monster in his bathroom. The monster, who calls Matthew "father", explains that it needs to return to the sewers to feed or it will die. Despite the monster's pleas, Matthew kills it.

SCENE 1
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, MATTHEWS BEDROOM – MORNING
Matthew a 17 year old boy with short blonde hair and blue eyes
around 6’2 and well-built wakes up in his single bed to his
digital alarm going off. Berlioz: Symphonie Fantastique begins to
play, it is 7:00. Matthew turns off his alarm, rubs his eyes then
gets out of his bed. He picks a towel off his filthy floor and
walks out of his room.
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, UPSTAIRS LANDING – MORNING
Matthew walks from his bedroom to his bathroom, the white door
shuts on the camera. We see the lock turn.
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, UPSTAIRS BATHROOM – MORNING
Matthew gets into his shower after taking off his pajamas and
turns the knob on the shower to full, we see the steam on the
window grow. Matthew is now pleasuring himself in the shower and
when he is finished he gets out and dry’s himself off checks out
his hair in his mirror then leaves the bathroom. We then see
Matthew’s DNA going down the shower drain.
INT. COLLEGE, CLASSROOM 1 - AFTERNOON
We see Matthew looking out the classroom window in a sort day
dream state, the teacher is talking in the background but is
mostly mumble. Matthew see’s something outside the window
crawling round the side of the building Matthew blinks then it is
gone. He stands up in shock and everyone in the class stares at
him
TEACHER
Is everything okay Matthew?
MATTHEW
Uh, Yh I just need the toilet
TEACHER
Well you should have gone at break now take your seat
Matthews sits back down and puts his head on his left hand on his
face, the teacher continues talking Matthew’s eyes start to
slowly close…
INT. COLLEGE, HALLWAY – NIGHTMARE
Matthew is confused as to why he is in the hallway and has no
recollection of how he got there the lights turn off he is in a
grim light and he hears a gravely whisper. He starts to walk

panicked, he hears a noise behind him and slowly turns round to
see inhuman hands reaching round the corner then in a screechy
shout
MONSTER
FATHER!!
INT. COLLEGE, TOILETS – NIGHTMARE
Matthew runs into the toilets gets in a stool and locks the door
and stands on the toilet so his feet can’t be seen, he hears the
door open and something muttering and crawling along the floor,
after a few seconds the sounds stop and Matthew’s door starts to
shake as if something is banging on it. Then we see the hands and
arms reach under the door for Matthew. Matthew screams
INT. COLLEGE, CLASSROOM 1 – AFTERNOON
Matthew wakes up and screams, everyone looks at him and starts
laughing the teacher tries to make the class quite down, Matthew
stands up to leave and notices he has wet himself so puts his bag
over his crotch and walks out.
EXT. OUTSIDE A PUB – AFTERNOON
There is a title screen that reads ‘9 MONTHSLATER’. Matthew and a
friend are having a pint of beer at their local pub in the beer
garden, they are sat on a sad looking bench and are talking about
the missing link
WILL
Look I’m just trying to have normal conversation with you
but you are acting as if I’m forcing you to fuck a dead
badger.
MATTHEW
I’m just not interested in the missing link that’s all.
WILL
Well just think about it, what happened to the Homo
erectus? Where did it go?
MATTHEW
I don’t know
WILL
Okay well just hear me out, maybe there was no Homo
erectus maybe the missing link is some sort of fish
creature.

INT. COLLEGE, TOILETS – NIGHTMARE – FLASHBACK
Matthew’s door starts to shake as if something is banging on it.
Then we see the hands and arms reach under the door for Matthew.
EXT. OUTSIDE A PUB – AFTERNOON
Cut back to Matthew and Will at the pub Matthew is staring into
nothing and has a slight look of fear on his face.
WILL
See I got you there didn’t I, now I’ll tell you why the
missing link is a fish crea-
MATTHEW
I’m going home
WILL
What why? It’s because you know I’m right isn’t it.
Matthew starts to walk off and as he puts his coat on he turns
around to Will
MATTHEW
Do you ever stop for a second to think about the utter
bull shit that dribbles out of your mouth?
Matthew walks off, Will is left puzzled but then turns to another
table of people
WILL
I got two words, missing link.
EXT. A ROAD – LATE AFTERNOON
Cut to Matthew walking down a suburban road, he is visibly shaken
by something as he walks down the road he hears whispers and
murmurs coming from the drains and the trees. Matthew starts to
walk faster but the whispers get louder, Matthew starts running
but trips and falls next to a drain. He hears a scream from the
drain.
MONSTER
FATHER!
Matthew gets up with a look of horror on his face, he runs
all the way home,

EXT. MATTHEWS DRIVEWAY – LATE AFTERNOON
When he gets to his drive way he notices his drain cover is open.
He runs up his gravel driveway and when he tries to unlock his
door he drops his keys, the monster in crawling up the drive
towards him.
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, HALLWAY – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew gets into his house slams the door and slumps his back
against the door. He hears raspy breathing and thudding on his
floor, when he looks up he sees his backdoor is open he stands up
panicked he grabs an umbrella as a weapon and slowly walks
towards his back door.
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, KITCHEN – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew slowly walks into his kitchen and looks around he lets
out a breath of relief when he sees no one is in there, he closes
his kitchen door as he turns to leave his kitchen he sees the
monster crawling down his hallway towards him. Matthew stares in
shock for a while then slams the kitchen door shut. We hear
knocking and scraping then the door handle starts shaking,
Matthew holds onto the door handle to prevent the monster getting
in. Matthew’s doorbell rings, all noises from the monster stops.
The doorbell sounds again.
EXT. MATTHEWS FRONT DOOR – LATE AFTERNOON
Will is standing outside Matthew’s door ringing the door bell
WILL
I know you are home because your keys are in
the door, I’m gonna to give you 5 more seconds
or I’m gonna to let myself in.
MATTHEW
No will don’t come in you don’t understand!
WILL

MATTHEW
There’s something in the house don’t come in!
WILL

MATTHEW
Stop being a stupid prick!
WILL
2, 1. Okay I’m coming in now.
MATTHEW
Will seriously don’t come in
INT. MATTHEWS HALLWAY – LATE AFTERNOON
Will walks into Matthew’s house and hears Matthew screaming on
the other side of the door telling him to get out. He ignores him
and starts to look around.
MATTHEW
What are you screaming at you bell end?
The monster then leaps onto will, this makes will fall backwards
then he gets ripped apart by the monster. Will is screaming and
shouting until he dies. Matthew opens the kitchen door and see’s
will dead on his hallway floor and the monster eating some of his
insides, the monster turns around and screams
MONSTER
FATHER! I REQUIRE SUBSTANCE, SUNLIGHT IS NO
LONGER A SUFFICIENT SUPLLY OF NUTRIENCE!
The monster starts to crawl towards Matthew, Matthew turns into
his kitchen
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, KITCHEN – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew grabs a knife from the draw he goes back to the hall
INT. MATTHEWS HALLWAY – LATE AFTERNOON
When Matthew returns to his kitchen the monster is gone but
Matthew hears noises up stairs, he goes to his staircase.
INT. MATTHEWS STAIRCASE – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew walks up his stairs with knife in his hand looking very
cautious he looks at a picture of himself on the stairs then it
changes into the monster, Matthew screams at this then runs up
the rest of the stairs.
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, UPSTAIRS LANDING – LATE AFTERNOON

Matthew walks round his landing checking every room until he
comes to the bathroom, he hears whimpering coming from inside.
With his knife at the ready Matthew slowly opens the bathroom
door
INT. MATTHEWS HOUSE, UPSTAIRS BATHROOM – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew sees the Monster in the bath tub clawing at the drain,
the monster turns to see Matthew. The monster is crying and he is
visibly weak and unwell.
MONSTER
SEND ME BACK TO THE MOIST DARK TUNNELS FATHER
MATTHEW
What are you talking about? You mean the sewers?
MONSTER
I MUST RETURN TO THE MOIST TUNNELS, WEAKNESS
IS UPON ME I NEED THE NUTRIENCE OF THE BROWN
SOFTIES. PLEASE FATHER
MATTHEW
Why do you keep calling me father?
MONSTER
YOUR SEED LANDED ON MY MOTHERS EGGS, I HAVE
WAITED TO BE REUNITED WITH MY FATHER
MATTHEW
You killed my friend, you can’t stay here and
what do you mean eggs?
MONSTER
SET ME FREE FATHER, I FEEL MY LIFE FADING. OR
BRING ME ANOTHER BEING TO FEAST ON
MATTHEW
This isn’t little shop of horrors I’m not
feeding you people
MONSTER
IM DYING FATHER, IF I DON’T FEED SOON I WILL DIE-
Matthew stabs the monster in the stomach, a greenish black goo
leaks from the wound and the monster spits the liquid all over
Matthews face, the monster starts to violently shake.

MONSTER
I JUST WANTED TO MAKE YOU PROU-
Matthew starts screaming and repeatedly stabbing the monster
until the monster stops moving and dies. Matthew falls to the
floor covered in the monster’s blood.
EXT. MATTEWS DRIVE WAY – LATE AFTERNOON
Matthew is carrying two heavy bin bags to the bottom of his drive
way and he leaves them there, he is still covered in the monsters
blood. We see the greenish black liquid leaking from the bag. As
the shot zooms out it shows all of the drain covers open. Cut to
black.
