• The image of an artist is extremely
important as it is the key selling point
of rebellion and
antiauthoritarianism.
• Dyer said that the visual star image
communicates important messages to
the audiences and a unique selling
point to the target audience.
• Our artist and the song links to the
Reggae dub genre, due to the beet and
the style of music. Audiences can see
stars as idols, or fashion icons IE..

We are going for a more grungy, cool
modern street (urban) look.
• Our star can remind our audience of
Rita Ora in terms of how she dresses
and performs. We looking to appeal

product?

Our cd digi-pak would be released on the 18th
march by the distribution company known as XL recordings, it will be advertised prior
to the date, on the internet, magazines and radios. Our music video will be shown on youtube and on television from the 18th
of
march onwards on Mtv, the CD digi pack can be bought both in retail stores and online and itunes. Our digipack is very similar to
an artist known as Lana Del rey’s CD digi pak which can be seen below.

• Our video attracts artistic
individuals ie.. Not the main
stream. It can be sold to all
types of audiances.
• Our brand image is quite
specific, it doesn’t fit into the
star image for most music
videos.
• We have overlapping
categories in our music video.
• Our brand image helps us look
at typical forms and
conventions used for the image
we are trying to achieve

6. About Our Music Video
• The big Tree challenges typical conventions as it presents
rebellion, a clash of cultures and conflict because our
characters are dressed in the exact opposite to how you
would expect them to in the type of location we used.
7. Our Audience
• Our audience is a select group of people with
a very unique set of interests.
• Brand image is consistant throughout our
campaign we have introduced our artist on
several social networking sites such as
twitter and Instagram.
• Our product is very different and unique (digi
pack) so it would be fairly expensive.
• We plan on distributing our digi pack in
shops and also online (downloading from
iTunes)
• We have used a lot of cross media
convergence to advertise our artist.
• Primarily we have relied on sound cloud,
YouTube and our own website to advertise
as they are all free.
8. Distribution
• YouTube offers free
distribution and marketing
which then could be shared
on different networks.
• We have used an online
service known as WIX to
create our website for RR
RECORDS.
• Our Digi Pack is going to be
sold for around 10 pounds, as
that is an average price for a
CD DIGI pack as our music
product is unique and
different.

• All of our products were
quite successful they
support our music video
very well and it is a good
example of our band
image.
• We got a lot of views and
good feedback from our
video as seen from the
youtube comments.
