1. GIMP'S TUTORIAL. -HOW TO CREATE A LOGO.
I'm going to explain how can you create a logo. We are going to do an easy example, then you can
try to do something more complicated.
The first step is open your GIMP's program.
Now we can start:
•Click on the highest bar. FILE>NEW>OK
•now we have a new document.
•Choose the rectangle select tool.
•Click up on the left corner and drag the mouse since you have a rectangle.
•Paint the rectangle of blak colour with the icon
•Now select the text tool from the toolbox
•Select thw white colour for the foreground.
•Now type the letter “N” on the gimp text editor window.
•Scroll down on the toolbox and select “DejaVu Sans Bold Semi-Condensed” font.
•The font should be changed now.
•Now change the size of the font to 101,04

Ok, if you have done it we can go on, if not, try again.
•Press ctel+L
•Create a new transparency layer.
•Select the rectangle tool and select the black bart os the rigth and coloured with white.
•Do tha same with the left part and so we obtain that:
•Create a new layer
•Now select text tool and drag a rectangle down the last pic that I parte to you in this tutorial.
•Write “INMETRO”
•SELECT Lucida Sans Semi-Bold Italic font and black colour.
•Now use the airbrush tool for delete the corners of our logo changing the color of the foreground
from black to white.
•The resoult is that.
