Throughout this presentation I hope I am able to offer guidance and make the transition of adding technology into your classroom a simple daily rountine.
2. Vision Statement
Technology has become part of the
educational process, but too often it is
separate and not integrated into the
learning
experience (Educationworldcom,
2017).
3. Goal and Objective
Facilitating group activities
Conducting research
Communicating final projects
4. Facilitating group activities
Cooperative learning is characterized
by positive interdependence, where
students perceive that better
performance by individuals produces
better performance by the entire
group (Johnson, et al., 2014).
It can be formal or informal, but often
involves specific instructor
intervention to maximize student
interaction and learning
(Vanderbiltedu, 2017).
5. Conducting Research
Multimedia Presentation
What is it?
Multimedia can be viewed as a melting
pot as it combines graphics, text, video,
sound to represent, and animation to
communicate information.
6. Communicating final projects
Google documents
What is it?
A document that can be access from
multiple computers allowing individuals
to edit with each other from various
locations. What‘s great is a teacher can
use this as a sign up sheet an email it to
specific parties; where details on roles
and parts can simply be done on an
online document.
7. Manage following aspects
One computer
Multi computer classroom
Handheld devices
IPad’s, tablets, or laptop's
8. One computer classrooms
Post a schedule: allow a set time for
each student at the computer station.
Draw popsicle sticks: write each
students name on a stick; pick a
student then when that students turn
is done they will pick the next one and
so forth.
Establish color coded groups: if able
to divide the class in five groups. After
groups are picked; simply place the
paper at station.
(Educationworldcom, 2017).
9. Multi computer classrooms
organization and management. Scheduling and rotation
are an important aspect of the "wired" (McKenzie, 1998)
classroom. Teachers need to plan ahead for student
rotation in an efficient way. There are many variables that
come into play such as the number of computers available
for each student and the effectiveness of the learning
activities. Students work at a different pace. Even in a
classroom with a computer for each person there is a
need to provide work for the fast working students who
have finished the task and have spare time
(Nelliemullercom, 2017).
10. Handheld devices
Here are simply five tips to help with a
smooth transition:
1. Establish new norms
2. Treat devices as learning tools
3. Use a phone cubby for testing
4. Encourage sharing
5. Connect student with educational
applications
(Catlintuckercom, 2014).
11. IPad‘s, tablets, or laptops
Above all, the common theme is
ORGANIZATION. Having everything
numbered (library system) and assign
it to each student.
We often forget about storage for our
technology. Structure of the classroom
layout may change based on that.
Create classroom rules with your
children; this will add responsibilities
as they are using such expense
equipment.

Editor's Notes
Integrating technology into the curriculum is a priority -- if not a mandate -- in most schools today. Most educational technology experts agree, however, that technology should be integrated, not as a separate subject or as a once-in-a-while project, but as a tool to promote and extend student learning on a daily basis. The challenge, of course, is in finding ways to use technology -- and to help students use it -- that don't take time away from core subjects (Educationworldcom, 2017).
As always you want to have a smooth transition when adding technology into your program . It is best to have at least two participates but no more than six when in a group setting. It may be best as you, (the educator/teacher) to assign the roles to avoid conflict among team members. This way everyone is able to get the full experience.
Many teachers have found that students are motivated to learn when they can use technology to present the results of a research project or activity. The multimedia presentation contains content but the messages are conveyed by the students selection of the media (Isteorg, 2017).
