1. B7 CONSULTANCY- MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
POST: MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Client: World's largest single-site Aluminum smelters
Salary: 8K - 10K AED
Job Location: Jabal Ali Site, Dock Facility
JOB PURPOSE:
1. To perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and re-commission of all plant equipment’s
as per company established EHS standards, methods, policies and procedures.
2. To maintain optimum performance and reliability of all dock equipment with minimum plant
downtime.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:
Performs preventive maintenance, repair maintenance and attends equipment with minimum
supervision from immediate supervisor.
2. Ensure mechanical equipment, operations, standards and controls are maintained at high
quality.
3. Effective repair, fault find and diagnose failures on machinery
4. Able to read and understand Mechanical drawings, service manuals and job instructions from
immediate supervisor.
5. Ensure that all preventive maintenance works are carried out in accordance with the safety
procedures and plant operational requirements.
6. Initiate swift action to replace of worn out or failed equipment / parts in a safe manner.
7. Carry out work in accordance with the Company's Operating Safety Regulations and plant
operating requirements.
8. Provide on the job training to new craftsmen to improve their skills.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and must be able to work in a team
environment and participates in a proactive manner in all team events
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 Years practical experience gained within heavy industrial complex,
raw materials handling or manufacturing environment with proven track record of
troubleshooting and performing repairs
Skills:
1. Good problem solving / troubleshooting skills
2. Good interpersonal and communication skills
3. Good knowledge in Microsoft office programs and SAP system
