Job Summary:
 Develop the HSSE strategy in line with the Company strategy to ensure vertical
alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies
across AMJ
 Ensure that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and
implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of AMJ
 Oversee all HSSE training programs and to oversee the acquisition of the necessary
provisions to ensure that employees execute their duties in a safe and secure manner.
 Develop the HSSE policies, guidelines and procedures for AMJ to ensure that employees
carry out their duty in a secure environment. Communicate these guidelines and
procedures to employees; coordinate with the necessary personnel for that purpose
and ensure that they are being properly implemented across AMJ.
 Design safety management plans for handling any unanticipated safety risks and
communicate these safety management plans to concerned AMJ،¦s employees.
 Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental
management policies, procedures and controls across the HSSE department to
guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality
products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
 Study and interpret Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) regulations and
standards are up to date.
 Oversee all inspections, identify causes of accidents and hazards and develop preventive
measures and practices.
 Oversee the implementation of safety programs and policies concerning safety in the
workplace. .
 Measure and evaluate effectiveness of safety programs against established objectives.
 Approve and selection of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and evaluate its
effectiveness.
 Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to
ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations
 Regularly inspect AMJ's premises and oversee security monitoring systems to exercise
surveillance and ensure a secure and safe working environment.
 Oversee, develop and update the evacuation plan in case of emergencies.
 Manage and direct all investigations in any act of theft inside the company premises.
 Oversee the security clearance procedures for employees and visitors to ensure proper
access control to company premises.
