3. Lessons
learned:
1. Now I know what causes my
headache. I thought it would be
just the weather or did not get
enough sleep. It was the mixed
smell of leather, cotton, cement
and plastic.
4. 2. Older people shop with
their spouses. Why? I guess
because as we grow older we
realize the importance of
company.
3. Spouses tend to shop
together in Home stores.
More male can be seen in the
Technology related stores
like Best Buy.
5. 4. People tend to flock to
stores that has on sale items
displayed outside the store.
5. The longer you stay in
the store, the higher
likelihood that you will
purchase something.
6. 6. Some stores tend to favor a specific
group. For example, at Pet Smart half of
their items are for dogs. At Ross, most of
the items are for women. Stores cater to
what the customers need.
7. 7. The features like the lighting, smell or
aroma, color scheme of the store affects
how long you will stay.
* Well lit stores and higher ceilings makes
the store look bigger.
* Dark background makes me feel
suffocated.
*Pine scent makes me feel welcome.
* White or light colored floor tiles make the
room bigger because the light bounces
back.
* Veneer tiles and carpet flooring is
common to stores that caters home
furnishings.
8. 8. Shopping or just
hanging out is not just
an economic activity. It
is a bonding activity.

subconscious way of
building relationship or
making time for the
people we care. Time to

music can trigger memories.

certain things, it made me
aware of what is going on
