This document provides an assessment plan for a first semester IB English A: Language and Literature course. It outlines 5 assessments including unit tests, oral activities, written tasks, and a portfolio. A unit test on language and cultural context will take place on April 3rd. An IB further oral activity designing a speaking task will occur April 24th to 27th. An IB written task exploring unit concepts will be from May 16th to 18th. A textual analysis test in the IB format is scheduled for June 12th. An English portfolio compiling coursework is due June 22nd. Lab timetable slots are also provided.
