GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY DEPARTMENT Teacher: Maite Fresnillo Document 5: Evaluation We do not do one exam per unit, but for per term, in which the evaluation criteria are the following:  Contents (40 per cent)- Theory knowledge  Procedures (40 per cent) – Exercises related to History techniques, this is, text commentary in this level (in other levels in which we can work the programme with more flexibility, we would include other kind of exercises as well).  Attitude (20 per cent)- In this we take into account the interest of students, their degree of taking part in the activities and the works done, mainly those that are compulsory, for instance, one text commentary per unit. Rubric model: Contents -Difficult to understand -Messy materials -Easy to understand -Disorganised -Easy to understand -Organised -Interesting additional materials -Very clear and easy to understand -Well organised -Excellent additional materials Language -Very difficult -Not enough worked -Difficult -Quite well worked -Not very difficult -Worked enough -Not very difficult -Cristal clear after explanations Exercises -Impossible to understand -Not related to the unit -Irrelevant contents -Difficult to understand -Too many items to work -Quire related to the contents -Easy to understand -Working in groups makes the task easier -Relevant contents for the unit -Easy to understand -Shared in groups reduces the load of work -Interesting for understanding and summarising the unit Explanations -Not enough -Too complicated and difficult to follow -Enough -Complicate and not easy to follow -Good enough -Easy to follow -Doubts enough clarified -Very good -Easy to follow -All doubts solved -Additional materials for understanding My work -Very poor -Poor -Good enough -Very good -Participative
