6. Tier Levels

• Foundation: 3 hours approx. per week. Emergency English and beginner
English, across the 4 skills, at word to simple sentence level. Withdrawals
and in-class support.
• Tier 1: 7 hours approx. per week. Emergency English and beginner English,
across the 4 skills, at word to simple sentence level. Withdrawals and in-
class support.
• Tier 2: 5 hours approx. per week, across the 4 skills, at simple sentence to
extended sentence level. Withdrawals and in-class support.
• Tier 3: 3 hours per week, across the 4 skills, at extended sentence level.
