How did you use media

2. Nikon D3000
• I used a digital SLR camera to
take still shots of my band during
their performance as this would
give me good quality and produce
a clear image for my digi pak.

• I used a HD Panasonic video
camera to film my artists in the
various locations I chose. The

camera gave me clarity and
sharpness, essential for filming
with different lighting and lots of

• Throughout the project I have
recorded my ideas, examples and
research through blogger, creating my
own blog recording my progress.

meaning they can keep up to date
with my work and set tasks via
blogger, giving the class easy access
to view work and stay up to date.

5. Final Cut Pro X
• I created my music video using
final cut pro X, a professional
video editing software made by
Apple. This has given me the

• I used Animoto to pitch my music
video, displaying a summary of
what it was to involve, who it was
to include and the a brief

• Twitter is a great social network in
terms of contacting people, keeping
people up to date and spreading the
word about anything and everything
to all over the world in a matter of
minutes. I used twitter to keep the
‘fans’ of my band up to date with
upcoming gigs and album/single
releases, as I found that people within

• Scridb has been a useful website, as
it uploads word documents to blogger,
keeping the blog neat, tidy and easy
to read.

9. Slideshare
• Slideshare is also a tidy way of uploading
powerpoints to blogger, keeping the
slideshow format giving the reader easy
access to a presentation.

10. Photoshop
• Photoshop was an essential piece of
software in order to enable me to edit and
create my digipak. The professional
elements gave me a wide option of tools to
make the digipak.
