technologies in the construction
and research, planning and
evaluation stages?

2. Media Technologies Used

Below I have made a list of all the different media
technologies I have used throughout my production
and the following slides will expand on each
technology.

3. • I used this camera throughout the filming stages
of our production as it enabled us to film in
1080p at 24 frames per second. We ensured that
the batteries were fully charged before each
filming session.
• This particular camera allowed us to manually
focus on different objects which helped us create
some interesting shots.
• This camera allowed us to film is a high quality
mode which helped us create an overal good
quality short film.

4. Adobe Premier Pro CS6
• Premier Pro CS6 was the editing programme
we created our short film. This programme
allowed us to put together the different clips
and crop them if necessary.
• We used different sequences and video and
audio tracks in order for us to overlap clips is
required. Also we was able to organise our
filming clips into different ‘bins’ in order for us
to be organised and know which clip is which.

5. Adobe Photoshop CS6
• I used adobe Photoshop CS6 to create my film
poster and for one of the images on my film
review.
• Adobe Photoshop CS6 allows me to crop
images, add layers to add text and images,
and also allows me to add different effects

6. Adobe InDesign CS6
• I used Adobe InDesign to create my film poster. Adobe
InDesign allowed me to create different layers for each
part of the review and organise them in different
folders to I could easily edit them when required. I was
able to use a variety of fonts and import a range of
images to the programme.
• InDesign is a very good programme when typing a lot
of text onto a page which required different columns as
the programme is set to carry the text over.
• InDesign would have also been a good programme if I
was required to create a double page spread.

7. Kite Learning Platform
• Kite Learning Platform is the online website the
school is in partnership with which allows me to
upload my work to a blog page in order for the
examiner to mark.
• Kite Learning Platform has allowed me to embed
videos, prezi’s, slideshare’s, and images and also
include text boxes in order for me to display all
my work that is required. I was able to colour co-
ordinate my work in order for me to show my
organisation skills.

8. Prezi
• Prezi is an free online website that allows me
to present my work in many different ways
and then allows me to embed the page onto
my Kite learning blog.
• Prezi has allowed me to display my work in
different ways which works just like a
Microsoft Presentation document.

9. YouTube
• I used to online video website, youtube
throughout the whole of my A2 project.
• As first, I was able to research into different
short films and analyse the good and bad
things about each, I was also able to embed
the video onto my Kite Learning blog.
• I also used youtube to upload our planning,
evidence of filming and evaluation in order for
me to display on our blogs.

10. Dropbox
• Dropbox is an online website which allowed my
production group to create a folder in which we all had
access to. We was able to upload our written work and
images to the website in order for each group member
to see what each other has been doing.
• This is also a good website which allowed me to save
me work during school times, then allowed me to have
access to it at home. This allowed me to continue with
my coursework outside of lesson times in order for me
to comply with deadlines we had set within our group.

11. Slideshare
• Slideshare is an online presentation website
which has allowed me to display my
evaluation in different ways.
• As it is an online resource, I was able to access
my work at home as well as during school to
keep my work on-going and to meet specific
deadlines.

12. • Throughout my Advanced Production I have
used a variety of different media technologies
to ensure that my work is at the best of my
ability.
• The main programmes I used was within the
Adobe software, as this was the main
software I used in order for me to create my
short film and ancillary tasks.
• The different online sources I sued allowed me
to carry out my research and planning stages
and present my work in a variety of ways then
embedding it onto my blog page.
