2. AS – music magazine
• Created a mood of the different music magazines
available. Mostly used Google images and copy and
pasted it on the app Prezi.
•
3. • I also created a Slideshare to give information
on the Uses and Gratifications theory, used as
research for my music magazine.
4. • Using different creative software's throughout
my research helped me learn and enjoy
researching information that would help me
achieve a good finished project.
• Using Pixlr, iMovie helped me edited my
photos and videos for both AS and A2
7. Storyboards
At A2, when planning my plot for my short film I
drew and storyboard to give me a base of an
idea, that I could refer back to and change if
needed.
8. Using YouTube
• Again for my A2 I used YouTube to search for
any 1920’s film that would help give me
inspiration on plots for my film and give me an
idea on mise-en-scene, camerashots, editing
and filters.
9. • I then used the video and posted them on my
blog so I could quickly find them and refer to
them if I needed to.
• As well I posted raw material on Google and
working progress of my work, so I also could
refer back to it if needed.
10. Black and White Filters
• For my music magazine as I chose the Jazz genre I
used black and white filters on my images created
with Pixlr and then coloured over my models lips to
emphasise the colour red.
11. • For my A2 short film, half of it was done in black and white filters,
and with iMovie I was able to adjust the contrast and saturation
of the filter, so not make it too dark or light for my audience.
