2. To follow the conventions
of the genre of music and
the star image that we
have created for our young
musician, we have
searched for items that
would suit him for the
performance.
The clothes we chose are
urban and brands and
styles we could find in the
streets of London in the
present day. We want to
sell the image that our
artist is approachable and
relatively careless in his
fashion choices, while still
conforming to the
established “good taste”.
3. We booked to Studio for half
and hour and Jaime organised
a shoot with his own clothes.
The size is a problem because
August is very tall but has
quite narrow shoulders. This
makes it difficult for the
sleeves to fit him perfectly.
However, it is a problem to
overcome.
I feel like we should search for
clothes slightly more original
because, though our artists
would wear these in his daily
life, in a song I’d say he would
choose something slightly
more striking than blue jeans
and Stan Smith sneakers.
4. Jaime also brought his
multiple rings, which in
my opinion add to the
personality of the
musician as each one of
them could tell a story
about him.
It is very clever to add
certain props to enhance
his image.
5. August definitely suits the look though with his unusual look and long hair. In spite
of how eccentric it looks when he lets it down, I think that in the day of the shoot he
should have it up in a bun, as it is more comfortable and modern. Let’s remember
as well that he is a skater and would be used to having his hair out of the way.
Overall, we are a bit closer to getting the perfect aesthetic for our artist.
