Fashions fade, style is eternal
Fashion in the 70´s
Por Juan Manuel Rojas Cárdenas
2. Everybody have in her mint a typical image about this fashion. It was hippie
fashion. Trouser with waist tight but very large at long, shirts with open collar,
woman rode on awesome platform shoes, etc. But not all fashion turns around
this style. In 70´s, people wore fresh and life colors and comfortable clothes.
Woman began to wear really short skirt, they has been so time with her knee
covered. It was time to show. Otherwise, they started to use Indian fabric with
natural pattern. She often wore high-heeled leather boots too.
3. Actually, we have a fashion mix in my opinion. Our designers doesn´t stop recycling old
styles and mix it. If you look the pictures, first, you can find similar looks than last times,
like girls fashion of this picture. She shows us fresh colors, comfortable t-shirts, short
jeans and skirts…. All similar than hippie fashion more less. Second, men are wearing
jeans too ,t-shirt with natural printed but the other three men wear different fashion, like
more serious with tight trouser and neutral colors. In fact, nowadays we have many
different fashion: rapper, hipsters, gothic, hippies …
4. 70´s vs. nowadays
- In the 70´s were the most daring of history.
- Nowadays there is more mixture than in the 70´s.
- In the 70´s, trousers were the most bell-shaped.
- In the 70´s there were fewer styles than now.
6. Personal opinion
Personally, I prefer our actually fashion. It´s more varied than
in the 70´s. You can find something going with your style and
you make yourself fashion. I don´t believe that I could get in
that trouser so tight and I can breathe. However, I think in the
70´s they were very daring and innovative.
