1. Presently working as a Logistics Coordinator in Abu Dhabi Medical Device L.L.C, Abu Dhabi, UAE since Dec 2013 to till
date.
Job Description:
 Follow up with suppliers (Europe & Far East) for the delivery / shipping of orders with the respective documents.
 Tracking the Import shipments and coordinate with clearing agents to arrange the clearance and delivery of
shipments to the warehouse.
 Checking the counting sheets of inward shipments, entering the GRN of purchases, settling the discrepancies with
the suppliers and claiming the Credit Note and replacements on case to case basis.
 Placing of the stock orders with the suppliers for the fast moving items based on the stock levels, stock movement
and forecasted sales in order to meet the demand.
 Customs documentation / preparation of shipping documents and arranging the delivery of shipments as per our
delivery terms & customer’s requirements.
 Coordinating with freight forwarders to negotiate freight rates for the various shipping requirements & arrange
import-export (air / sea) and local delivery of shipments as per the requirements.
 Checking & approving all the transporters, forwarders & clearing agents’ invoices & forwarding to Accounts dept to
process the payment.
 Estimating the Volume and Shipping Cost for the Project Orders.
 Providing a detailed report of freight expenses to the Management with the actual and budgeted numbers on
monthly basis.
 Handling the negotiation of Letter of Credit and Bank Documents. Coordinating with the customers to finalize the
LC terms & requirements and negotiating the documents accordingly.
 Applying Duty exemption for the Raw Marital Import
 Applying Import Permit
 Regularly updating the sales team and customers on the status of their respective shipments.
 Advising the Sales team and customers to choose the right shipping / transport solutions for their orders in order to
achieve Project deadlines.
 Handling the overall activities of Supply Chain department as when required.
 Coordinating with Liners to Hire Empty Containers and to convert Import Containers for exports and submitting
load list as and when required.
 Preparation of Certificate of Origin and its legalization.
 Handling Gate pass for local delivery
