The USPTA San Diego Division publishes a newsletter
periodically throughout the year to update members on
recent events, awards, and special offers. Accessible on
its website, its May of 2015 issue included details about
the College Knowledge event at Rancho Valencia Resort
and Spa.

• The College Knowledge event gave families and
young players access to professionals and college
coaches to ask questions about playing tennis at the
collegiate level. USTA Tennis on Campus
representative Linda Milan and associate head
coach of women’s tennis West Nott of the University
of Southern California shared tips on how to become
a prospect for recruiters, earn scholarships, and play
successfully at a university. Attending coaches also
gained valuable details about college tennis that can
be utilized to shape athletes.
