My Mom Impacted My Life Essay
There are many people that have the strongest impact in your lives. They are your role model and
you want to be like them. These can be your family members, friends, or people that you just see
on T.V. Whoever they might be they impacted your life because of want you learned from them.
One person that had the strongest impact that made me who I am today is my mom. My mom
had impacted my life and made me who I am today because she taught how to treat other how I
want to be treated, don't judge other people because of their looks, and if you don't try you won't
succeed. These are only the few lesson that I learned from my mom as a kid. My mom always told
me that if I wanted people to give you respect I have to do the same to them. If you...show more

It is the biggest because in our society there are a lot of judgement on people today. People judge
on what they only see and not what they know. There are people out there that are getting
criticized because they just judge them instead of listening to what they need to hear. This lesson
made me a better person because judging is not an okay thing to do. There are people who are
miss judge on what they look like. People who look at a person who is wearing a scarves thinks
that they are terrorist. They are mistaken by a bad group of people and now they are getting hate
for a miss judgement. These people where it because they don't want to get judge of their
appearance rather than their personality. There are many more example of how people judge other
people. This lesson had made me a better person because it makes me think twice before judge a
person who looks completely different from the outside than the

Profile of My Mother
Getting to know my Mom It took me eighteen years to spend some quality time with my mother
and discover what an incredible journey she has had with my brothers and me. She is the kind of
person who has always been very involved with all parts of our daily lives. In fact, she was the kind
of mother who always had time for her three sons, worked full–time and had time to devote to
community projects too. Her energy and enthusiasm for all of these things seemed endless and she
always tried to teach the three of us to see the value in the idea of giving back to the community. I
was always glad that she was present at my games and supported me through school, but it took me
over a decade to learn what motivated her to be so...show more content...
My mother also says, "...I am pretty sure God intended for me to have sons. I am more of a
tomboy than I am barbie doll. I am sure I would not have done well teaching a daughter how to do
all the girlie things. Not to mention, when my nieces were little, I noticed the drama began very
early on and they talked incessantly." Of course she winks and grins with these remarks. She was
like a second mother to my cousins and loves them dearly. As much as she is quick to point out
the reasons she loved having sons and why they are so easy to raise, there is more to this story. I
can 't count the times she has asked all of us why we need to scratch ourselves all of the time. This
is not something females understand. It is not something males really want or feel they need to
explain because it is just what we do. She can laugh about it and enjoyed imitating us and asking if
we would like to see her walking around the house in her underwear scratching or fondling her parts.
My mother was less tolerant of another brotherly trait – squabbling. That was another part of our
dynamic which just seemed normal to my brothers and me. We just liked to agitate each other. To
my mother this was upsetting because she didn 't want anyone hurt and she wanted to make sure
we had good relationships in the future. It was not easy for her to get us to engage in conversations
about feelings and relationships. Try as she might, we were most often not did not feel her same

My Most Important Mentors In My Life : My Mother
I could say I have many mentors in my life, but my most important mentor is my mom. A mentor
to me is someone who critically guides you through your life decisions and provokes endless
learning from their life experiences and wisdom. The only person who meets my idea of a
mentor is my mom. I have known her since birth and have always felt loved and cared by her. She
gives me every tool I could possibly need to succeed through primary school and onto
postsecondary schooling. She has always given me words of encouragement, been honest when I
am in the wrong, and has always pushed me to reach my potential. I went to my mom on a
Sunday, which is family day in our house. We went out to lunch with my brother since he was
visiting from college, and I got the opportunity to ask my mom about her views on Mitch's and
my topics. In my conversation with my mom we talked about three topics; A meaningful life,
Family, and Education. Mitch's first topic was what it means to have a meaningful life. My mom
believes that what it means to have a meaningful life, is that it should not be defined by money or
other people's opinions. But rather it should be defined by your happiness and compassion for the
things you do in your everyday life. When discussing Mitch's second topic, family, my mom
believes that the most important thing is that family is there for you to be honest, and to be critical
of your decisions in life. We both agreed they should be supportive of your passions and beliefs,

There have been a vast number of lives that have touched mine. Many different people have
shared a piece of their soul in my formation. However, it is my mother who is the most important
and most influential person in my life. My mother raised me by herself since the day I was born.
My father was abusive and she left to make a better life for the both of us. She has worked as many
as four jobs at one time. My mother wants to make sure my brothers and I have a better life than
she did. It hasn't always been easy for her, taking care of us on her own, trying to pay bills and
making sure we had everything we needed. My mom has always had us involved in sports at a very
young age. We always were doing something or involved in something...show more content...
Education is the key to success and without it you will not have a future. That is embedded in my
brain. As a teenager you listen to your parents nag on you all the time about school and just think it's
easier said than done. But for me I lived through paradigm, my mom went back to school while
raising us and working two jobs. She graduated from ASU with a 4.0 GPA and was honored and on
the news because of all she's done and went through in her lifetime. I have a difficult enough time
doing my homework and going to basketball training. My mother went to school full–time, had two
jobs, cooked for us, cleaned, paid bills, went to our games and still managed to get a 4.0. She
always tells us if I can do it you can. Nothing in life comes easy you have to work for it, then you
will be a success, if it is just given to you then you will never recognize the value of it. My mother
has taught me to be courageous and always stand up for what I believe in. Every day, when I
think about all that she went through while raising us, I really am astonished. She has basically
given up her life for us making sure that we be successful in everyway. I can remember her letting
me try out for club basketball when I was in sixth grade, the money didn't even daunt her she always
found away. However, when someone hurts anyone of us she has no problem standing up for us. I can

Narrative Essay On Mothers Love
A Mother's Love My mom has had the greatest impact on my life. She has always taught me to
always try my hardest and to treat everyone equally and with respect. My mom's heart and
determination is what I hope to have one day. She always puts anyone before herself. She is the
kindness, most generous woman I have ever met. I can only hope to become like my mom one
day. My mom impact my life because of all the different experiences we have experienced together.
The day after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, my mom and I decided to go out and buy supplies to
donate to the people affected by it. Later that cold day, we went to Walmart and bought toiletries,
bottled water, and brand new clothing and shoes. The friendly cashier with pink hair said,...show

Once they finished talking on the phone, my mom sat down and started bawling. My dad asked my
mom, "What's wrong honey?" After that, my mom started telling us that my great–grandmother just
recently passed away. I didn't really know my great–grandmother, but when my mom told me the
horrible news, my heart broke into a thousand pieces because I knew how much my mom loved
her grandmother. Later that week, we traveled to Great Bend for her funeral. It was a very
depressing day and all you could see were people weeping, but you could tell they were trying to
put a brave face on. My mom tried her hardest to keep her tears in, but she couldn't, it was just too
hard for her. I hugged my mom and told her that everything was going to be alright and that I love
her so much. My mom has her down moments, but she also has those exciting, fun moments. The
week before summer vacation in sixth grade, my mom and I decided to go to Elitch Gardens in
Denver, Colorado. The road trip was super fun, but there was quite a lot of traffic that day. Once
we arrived, we bought our tickets and went through security. The metal detector went off on my
mom because she forgot to put her phone in the box. Elitch Gardens was very crowded that day. We
couldn't get anywhere without bumping into all the sweaty people. The lines were super long and
all these little kids were fussing about waiting in line. We decided to get on the tallest wooden roller
coaster there,

Parents are one of the most beautiful things that could happen to anyone. They are always there by
your side no matter what; they always want the best for their children. They can be strict and
protective, its because they love their kids and they don't want them to get hurt. My parents are
special to me because with all the hard time that they had to have me and my siblings in their life
they still fought for us and didn't give up, even after 17 years of trying. But for me? The greatest of
all is my mom. She is the one that I look up too. She is the greatest of all. Simple, funny, strict,
protective, but yet she is the best.

mom is your best friend".
Your mom is your best friend, sister, and your whole life. She helps you be successful and always

I Care For My Mother
1.I care for my dear mother, art, and education. I care for my mom because she is the woman that
gave me life and raised me to become the person who I am today. I have learned how to treat other
people better through watching her, and she has shown me what it means to be honest and
trustworthy. She has forced me to take challenges like applying to colleges outside of Texas even
though I had never been anywhere else than Texas, Oklahoma, and Mexico. She has supported me in
my goals to receive a college degree to someday help underprivileged family in poor communities
and poor countries. Second, I care for my education. Every day I help my family, and I have realized
that I would like to expand my assistance and help others. As I mentioned, I want to be a college
graduate and be certified in a field that will allow me to assist people, such as children. I am not
sure what I want to do with the rest of my life, but I know that I want to help people. I want to be
able to use the skills and knowledge I learn in college for the betterment of others and myself.
College is the vehicle for this because I believe the only way for me to flourish mentally and
financially is growing in my education. Education is already my passion, and college will suffice
my hunger for knowledge. Third, I care for art. Beyond honing my skills in traditional subjects, I
have become deeply invested in developing as an artist. At first, art in my eyes was just something
that I was good at creating.

My Mother Essay
What can one say about their mother? One may talk about her positive and negative characteristics.
There are so many great traits I love and admire about my mom, that it would be difficult and unfair
to write about just one. Being strong, generous and optimistic are all some great personality traits,
which my mother possesses.
Ever since I can remember, my mother has been a strong individual. She raised my brother and I
financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually by herself. My mom gave her all, by that I
mean, she worked two jobs to make sure her children ate properly and that they had the essential
amenities to grow happily and successfully. Another way she supported us was with love and care.

She would encourage me by simply saying, "Complaining is a useless way to solve problems, but
becoming active on the issue is a great way to conquer it. My mother My mother has always had
strong faith and views in her religion. When I was younger, every day and night, she would bring
prayer time to me and my brother's attention. My mom instilled As a child, my mother displayed the
seriousness of spirituality. In which she expressed her faith in us at an early age, that prayer time
was not the time to make jokes nor to complain about having to partake in it.
One lesson she taught us the most, was how seriousness about our spiritual beliefs could provide us
with a substantial, stable and structural lifestyle.
My mother's heart is at its purest when giving. I witnessed my mother chip in and pay for people's
rent, car notes, and buying them groceries. Although my mother's intentions were good,
occasionally, her generosity has been taken advantage of. One time a close friend of the family, came
to my mother in desperate need. He asked her to loan him a large amount of money, with the
agreement that he would pay back in either monthly or weekly installments. My mom never did see
the money that was due to her. Despite the incident she still gives and encourages others to give,
whether is it a donation, or volunteering your time in your community. My

My Reflection On My Mother Essay
A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her.
There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull,
fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I
admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving
she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where she is today. I will begin by telling you a little
bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and
Bev Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School
when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in a lot of different activities. She was in
the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in
student council, secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung
out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also. She babysat a lot, worked at
the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended
youth group at Hope Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior
in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They then had three beautiful
daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City,
Iowa, to get her education

A Moment With My Mother
Did you ever know a moment that somehow set a course for the rest of your future? That moment
for me is when I met my mother. It's funny how I don't really remember that moment , but it will
impact me for the rest of my life. I lerato Scott was born to Martha Bok on September 30,1999 in
Pretoria , South Africa. I weighed in at about 2.6 pounds. Nice and healthy right? I lived with
Martha for a short time after my birth, but due to her Tuberculosis and HIV AIDS she was unable to
take care of me. At the time I was around 18 months I was brought to a Place of Safety, but was
soon hospitalized when I started showing signs of TB. Along with TB I was battling herpes and
ear infections as well as severe eczema. My eczema was so bad that it left my skin raw and
bleeding. Every body craves that you can think of was cracked and bleeding. My neck , behind my
ears , my armpits. You name it. Now normally at 18 months babies start to crawl around or even
begin talking. Due to severe malnourishment I was doing none of these things. I even had plateaued
in my growth at this point.
I often ask my mother how she came to find me or how she even ended up in South Africa .
Everytime she tells me she says it was purely a God thing.
Dana Scott was working as a missionary at a place called Bethesda Outreach Ministries when I was
placed in her care. Bethesda is an organization that provides orphans with a safe and loving family.

Stronger through My Mom's Cancer Essay
Everything is perfectly fine, everything is great, then one day it all comes crashing down and
shattered pieces are left. My life would never be the same but I guess change is for the best and it
forced me to become the person I am today. It's rough to be the oldest child, especially when your
mom is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and you have 3 younger sisters that look to you for comfort
when their mom can't be there. When the cancer is spread throughout your moms body doctors can't
just get rid of it no matter how badly you wish they could. Rounds of chemotherapy only slow it
down, yet it's still there a lurking monster waiting to reappear at any given moment. Nothing can

An ambulance came and carried out my mom. I didn't know what was going on, so many
questions running through my mind, what was wrong with her, was she going to be ok. I was
scared, more scared then I had ever been. My sister Sheridan who was 8 asked me "what's
happening?" through tears. On that day a little piece of me began to change because if I let her
see my fear that would not help anyone, and so even though I didn't know what was happening I
responded "everything is going to be ok" even though I did not trust my own words. When my
dad came home that evening he sat me down and asked me if I knew what cancer was. I had an
idea so I just nodded my head, he went on to tried to explain to me how bad the cancer was that
my mom had been diagnosed with. Seeing my dad so afraid scared me. The fear I felt then led
me to realize that I needed to try and hide it because it would only hurt my dad more to see his
children so upset. I did my best to help, I tucked my little sisters into bed while my mom was
away at the hospital, read them stories and did the best I could at preparing snacks to comfort
them. After my mom arrived home and she recovered from the surgery she started chemotherapy.
The miserable treatment that attacks the cancer also makes her very ill. Every other week she was
sick. Before every bad week I wanted to cry, but that wouldn't help anyone. Lane and Kenna already
were crying, if I cried it could only hurt my parents

Essay About My Mother 's Pregnancy
They talked just long enough for my father to get what we wanted out of the deal. Shortly after, she
discovered that she was pregnant with me. I think it 's so funny now because my father likes to say
"I just blew on your mom, and she got pregnant. I don 't know how that happened." During my
mother 's pregnancy, she discovered a lot of things about my father that would make the average
woman infuriated. She found out that he already had a daughter (my oldest sister, Tia) with
another woman from his hometown, Detroit, Michigan. And while he was "seeing" her (for a
better choice of words) he was also "seeing" another woman who lived in the same area of the city
that she lived. And if that wasn 't enough, she found out that woman was also pregnant by my father
with my oldest brother, Angel, who is only five months older than me. To make it even worse, she
did not obtain any of this information from my father. She learned this information on a trip to the
mall, from a mutual friend that my mother and Angel 's mother did not know they shared. My
mother was extremely heartbroken and depressed after finding out all of this. She actually believed
that her and my father had a future together; which is a joke in itself knowing my father's past.
She was in a deep depression for a long period of time. But she knew that she would have to get over
it because she was about to have a daughter. She that she would have to raise me regardless if my
father were going to be in the picture

My Personal Experience
My mother died four years ago from an asthma attack and not a day goes day that I don't miss her!
Initially, when I found out that she passed away; I was 15 years old at the time. As a result, I knew
my whole life was about to change; I would have a void in my heart forever. Furthermore, losing my
mother would change my perspective of the world, especially at such a young age. Although it's
hard to describe the pain that I felt, I can still remember her inner and outer beauty. Moreover, she
fed me sacrificed proficient sleep. Also, I was very proud of my mother for going back to school
to get her diploma. In my eyes, this made her a hero because of the obstacles that she had to
overcome as an adult. To illustrate this point, she got pregnant during her senior year and had to
drop out. However, being the strong, determined person that she was, she went back to school when
my brother was six months old and earned her GED.
I would illustrate my mother as a gorgeous, splendid, delicate, exquisite, delightful, well–educated
woman. She gave birth to me as a young lady. She was the first person that I saw, it is obvious, in
my opinion, that my mother was the best mother in the whole universe .First of all, my mother
didn't get very much sleep for weeks when I awakened in the middle of the night crying. Second of
all, she changed my diapers whenever I wet myself or sobbed myself, and watched me laugh every
time that I smiled at her appearances. Third of all,

Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age.
Due to shortage of material condition, she herself has trained an extremely strong will and ability
to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly
remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We
had to sell our house and leave for another town to begin from "zero". This critical time made
every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women,
strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief,
and the way she overcame difficulties to move on has made an indelible impression in my mind,
leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to
firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there
was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and was about to give up everything. After the
constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to
deal with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that
was also the time that I acquired from my mother how to learn from her mistakes and developed my
own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination.

Personal Essay : Losing My Mother
Losing My Mother I can still remember vividly the day my mother passed away. My mother
passed away at a critical point in my life when I was seventeen years old from a short term illness.
She was sick for a week and I remember thinking this could be serious, however, my mother
declined to go to the hospital because of the distance and financial hardship. I had loss my father
when I was three years old, so my mother was a single mother. I have step sisters and brother, but
I was not particularly close to them. Losing my mother was a defining moment in my life for it
changed my life irrevocably. I was devastated, but I had to become strong, proactive and it spurred
me to choose a new career path. Losing my mother was very traumatising. She was the only
parent I knew since the age of three and the one person I knew I could depend on one hundred
percent. I was in school when one of my cousin came to inform me that I was to return home
immediately. In my gut I knew something serious must have happened to my mother. I do not
remember how I got home. When I saw several people crying at my home and nobody was really
make eye contact with me, I just started to cry too and that is when someone told me how sorry
they were for my loss. I was in shock for more than three days. I did not sleep nor eat and I did not
shade single tears after the initial outburst. Basically I just wanted to crawl in a corner and never

My Relationship With My Mother Essay
My relationship with my mother, Jodi Lynn Borchert, started the day that I was born, February 25,
1995, and it continues to this day even though she lives in Idaho and I live in Colorado. She is a
part of my family which is defined on p. 328 in our books as a "network of people who share their
lives over long periods of time and are bound by marriage, blood, or commitment". Jodi is my
biological mother and this makes us family through blood. To be more specific about my mother is
that she is a part of my Nuclear family (p.329), a family consisting of a wife (my mother), husband
(my father), and their biological child (me). All my life my mother has always called me Konis.
As stated in our textbook on p. 193, words and phrases that have unique meanings to a particular
relationship, such as pet names or private phrases with special meaning are called personal
idioms. Every time my mom calls me Konis, my mom is using a personal idiom because only the
two of us know the personal meaning behind the nick name that she calls me. Even though we
don't know where she came up with the nick name. Since we both live a couple of states away
from each other we both must have regular relationship maintenance (p. 304), meaning that we both
make communication and supportive behaviors to sustain a desired relationship. I do this by
making time once a week to call her just to talk about what's going on in her life. She also does this
by talking to me one a week but also finding time to

At age three I said "I love you mommy." At age seven I said, "Mom, stop kissing my cheek!" At age
fifteen I say, "You're so annoying– I can't wait to move out!" At age eighteen, I'll be saying "I miss
home." At age twenty–seven I'll be saying "I miss my mom." At age forty I'll be saying "I miss you
so much; I wish you didn't have to go." My mom is the sun to my shine. My mother is a hard worker.
She loves what she does for a living. She does arrangements for peoples' houses. I've seen her
work from 7 a.m. to midnight at times. The hard work pays off but most of her earnings go to bills
or groceries. When she has a new project, she goes shopping for flowers to make what mental image
she has in her into reality. The...show more content...
She has the power to make you smile when you're down, make you cry by telling a story, keep you
under control when you're too rowdy and get angry when needed. Family is an important thing to my
mother. She loves to spend as much time as she can with them. She believes in the Hawaiian
saying, "Ohanna: Nobody gets left behind." This past summer we went on a cruise ship. The
whole side of my mom's family had gone. I enjoyed my time there, especially when we arrived in
Cozumel, MX. One of the most embarrassing things that could happen to me frightened my mom
to death. Purging is said to make you lose weight. The banging on the restroom door startled me
knowing I would be caught. From that point on she took extra care of my health. Looking after
what I ate, when I should exercise etc. When I was fourteen, my parents and I made a deal that if I
lost twenty pounds, I would be able to get my first tattoo. She supported me with it, thus, me losing
the weight. Not everyone grows up with manners. I have a high tolerance for respect. Growing up
going to church every Sunday due to my mom helped me adapt to maturity. Not that I'm highly
bipolar, but I do lose my temper really drastically. I've been taught by my mom to forgive and
forget. Through the worst of her times that people have put her through; she forgives. She tells me
I have the blood of my dad seeing as how I will always hold a grudge towards someone no matter
what. I know my mom wants the best for her kids,

Definition Essay On Mother
What is a mother? Most with this title are indeed moms, but are they true "Mothers"? The title of
"Mother" holds great meaning with most people, including myself. It does not simply mean a mom.
No, a mother is the woman who nurtures you, holds us when no one else will and teach us lessons
that cannot be found or bought anywhere else, by anyone else. My Mother is a strong, determined,
hard working woman that has taught me the importance of putting others before myself. She has
sacrificed a great deal for our family and continues to teach me more and more no matter how old or
wise I think I get. She has shown amazing strength and determination. I believe my mother to be the
perfect example of how a true mother should be in her own imperfect way....show more content...
True wisdom is passed down from one generation to another and should be held among the highest
of values when passed on. The knowledge of just what true strength and determination is, is one
of the highest things i hold of value and will ensure my children value it the same. I will make
these attributes the base upon which my children will be built, just as my mother has done to me.
My children will not fail, they will not stay on the ground when knocked down, they will not give
in to the darkness that will surely challenge them in the future. They will not faulture because they
will be raised upon the powerful virtues of strength and determination. Just imagine if the other
kids of their generation were raised upon the same principles? Could you even imagine the benefits
and rewards that would be reaped? Imagine a generation shrouded in strength with a determined
mindset to make the world a better place. The things that they could achieve would be
incomprehensible. Therefore, we as a people must focus on sowing these values into the soon to be
generation so that the rewards reaped upon their arrival will be enough to change the world in which
they live in for the

Essay On Your Mother

  • 1. My Mom Impacted My Life Essay There are many people that have the strongest impact in your lives. They are your role model and you want to be like them. These can be your family members, friends, or people that you just see on T.V. Whoever they might be they impacted your life because of want you learned from them. One person that had the strongest impact that made me who I am today is my mom. My mom had impacted my life and made me who I am today because she taught how to treat other how I want to be treated, don't judge other people because of their looks, and if you don't try you won't succeed. These are only the few lesson that I learned from my mom as a kid. My mom always told me that if I wanted people to give you respect I have to do the same to them. If you...show more content... It is the biggest because in our society there are a lot of judgement on people today. People judge on what they only see and not what they know. There are people out there that are getting criticized because they just judge them instead of listening to what they need to hear. This lesson made me a better person because judging is not an okay thing to do. There are people who are miss judge on what they look like. People who look at a person who is wearing a scarves thinks that they are terrorist. They are mistaken by a bad group of people and now they are getting hate for a miss judgement. These people where it because they don't want to get judge of their appearance rather than their personality. There are many more example of how people judge other people. This lesson had made me a better person because it makes me think twice before judge a person who looks completely different from the outside than the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Profile of My Mother Getting to know my Mom It took me eighteen years to spend some quality time with my mother and discover what an incredible journey she has had with my brothers and me. She is the kind of person who has always been very involved with all parts of our daily lives. In fact, she was the kind of mother who always had time for her three sons, worked full–time and had time to devote to community projects too. Her energy and enthusiasm for all of these things seemed endless and she always tried to teach the three of us to see the value in the idea of giving back to the community. I was always glad that she was present at my games and supported me through school, but it took me over a decade to learn what motivated her to be so...show more content... My mother also says, "...I am pretty sure God intended for me to have sons. I am more of a tomboy than I am barbie doll. I am sure I would not have done well teaching a daughter how to do all the girlie things. Not to mention, when my nieces were little, I noticed the drama began very early on and they talked incessantly." Of course she winks and grins with these remarks. She was like a second mother to my cousins and loves them dearly. As much as she is quick to point out the reasons she loved having sons and why they are so easy to raise, there is more to this story. I can 't count the times she has asked all of us why we need to scratch ourselves all of the time. This is not something females understand. It is not something males really want or feel they need to explain because it is just what we do. She can laugh about it and enjoyed imitating us and asking if we would like to see her walking around the house in her underwear scratching or fondling her parts. My mother was less tolerant of another brotherly trait – squabbling. That was another part of our dynamic which just seemed normal to my brothers and me. We just liked to agitate each other. To my mother this was upsetting because she didn 't want anyone hurt and she wanted to make sure we had good relationships in the future. It was not easy for her to get us to engage in conversations about feelings and relationships. Try as she might, we were most often not did not feel her same Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Most Important Mentors In My Life : My Mother I could say I have many mentors in my life, but my most important mentor is my mom. A mentor to me is someone who critically guides you through your life decisions and provokes endless learning from their life experiences and wisdom. The only person who meets my idea of a mentor is my mom. I have known her since birth and have always felt loved and cared by her. She gives me every tool I could possibly need to succeed through primary school and onto postsecondary schooling. She has always given me words of encouragement, been honest when I am in the wrong, and has always pushed me to reach my potential. I went to my mom on a Sunday, which is family day in our house. We went out to lunch with my brother since he was visiting from college, and I got the opportunity to ask my mom about her views on Mitch's and my topics. In my conversation with my mom we talked about three topics; A meaningful life, Family, and Education. Mitch's first topic was what it means to have a meaningful life. My mom believes that what it means to have a meaningful life, is that it should not be defined by money or other people's opinions. But rather it should be defined by your happiness and compassion for the things you do in your everyday life. When discussing Mitch's second topic, family, my mom believes that the most important thing is that family is there for you to be honest, and to be critical of your decisions in life. We both agreed they should be supportive of your passions and beliefs, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. There have been a vast number of lives that have touched mine. Many different people have shared a piece of their soul in my formation. However, it is my mother who is the most important and most influential person in my life. My mother raised me by herself since the day I was born. My father was abusive and she left to make a better life for the both of us. She has worked as many as four jobs at one time. My mother wants to make sure my brothers and I have a better life than she did. It hasn't always been easy for her, taking care of us on her own, trying to pay bills and making sure we had everything we needed. My mom has always had us involved in sports at a very young age. We always were doing something or involved in something...show more content... Education is the key to success and without it you will not have a future. That is embedded in my brain. As a teenager you listen to your parents nag on you all the time about school and just think it's easier said than done. But for me I lived through paradigm, my mom went back to school while raising us and working two jobs. She graduated from ASU with a 4.0 GPA and was honored and on the news because of all she's done and went through in her lifetime. I have a difficult enough time doing my homework and going to basketball training. My mother went to school full–time, had two jobs, cooked for us, cleaned, paid bills, went to our games and still managed to get a 4.0. She always tells us if I can do it you can. Nothing in life comes easy you have to work for it, then you will be a success, if it is just given to you then you will never recognize the value of it. My mother has taught me to be courageous and always stand up for what I believe in. Every day, when I think about all that she went through while raising us, I really am astonished. She has basically given up her life for us making sure that we be successful in everyway. I can remember her letting me try out for club basketball when I was in sixth grade, the money didn't even daunt her she always found away. However, when someone hurts anyone of us she has no problem standing up for us. I can Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Narrative Essay On Mothers Love A Mother's Love My mom has had the greatest impact on my life. She has always taught me to always try my hardest and to treat everyone equally and with respect. My mom's heart and determination is what I hope to have one day. She always puts anyone before herself. She is the kindness, most generous woman I have ever met. I can only hope to become like my mom one day. My mom impact my life because of all the different experiences we have experienced together. The day after Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, my mom and I decided to go out and buy supplies to donate to the people affected by it. Later that cold day, we went to Walmart and bought toiletries, bottled water, and brand new clothing and shoes. The friendly cashier with pink hair said,...show more content... Once they finished talking on the phone, my mom sat down and started bawling. My dad asked my mom, "What's wrong honey?" After that, my mom started telling us that my great–grandmother just recently passed away. I didn't really know my great–grandmother, but when my mom told me the horrible news, my heart broke into a thousand pieces because I knew how much my mom loved her grandmother. Later that week, we traveled to Great Bend for her funeral. It was a very depressing day and all you could see were people weeping, but you could tell they were trying to put a brave face on. My mom tried her hardest to keep her tears in, but she couldn't, it was just too hard for her. I hugged my mom and told her that everything was going to be alright and that I love her so much. My mom has her down moments, but she also has those exciting, fun moments. The week before summer vacation in sixth grade, my mom and I decided to go to Elitch Gardens in Denver, Colorado. The road trip was super fun, but there was quite a lot of traffic that day. Once we arrived, we bought our tickets and went through security. The metal detector went off on my mom because she forgot to put her phone in the box. Elitch Gardens was very crowded that day. We couldn't get anywhere without bumping into all the sweaty people. The lines were super long and all these little kids were fussing about waiting in line. We decided to get on the tallest wooden roller coaster there, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

They are always there by your side no matter what; they always want the best for their children. They can be strict and protective, its because they love their kids and they don't want them to get hurt. My parents are special to me because with all the hard time that they had to have me and my siblings in their life they still fought for us and didn't give up, even after 17 years of trying. But for me? The greatest of all is my mom. She is the one that I look up too. She is the greatest of all. Simple, funny, strict, protective, but yet she is the best. • 7. I Care For My Mother 1.I care for my dear mother, art, and education. I care for my mom because she is the woman that gave me life and raised me to become the person who I am today. I have learned how to treat other people better through watching her, and she has shown me what it means to be honest and trustworthy. She has forced me to take challenges like applying to colleges outside of Texas even though I had never been anywhere else than Texas, Oklahoma, and Mexico. She has supported me in my goals to receive a college degree to someday help underprivileged family in poor communities and poor countries. Second, I care for my education. Every day I help my family, and I have realized that I would like to expand my assistance and help others. As I mentioned, I want to be a college graduate and be certified in a field that will allow me to assist people, such as children. I am not sure what I want to do with the rest of my life, but I know that I want to help people. I want to be able to use the skills and knowledge I learn in college for the betterment of others and myself. College is the vehicle for this because I believe the only way for me to flourish mentally and financially is growing in my education. Education is already my passion, and college will suffice my hunger for knowledge. Third, I care for art. Beyond honing my skills in traditional subjects, I have become deeply invested in developing as an artist. At first, art in my eyes was just something that I was good at creating. • 8. My Mother Essay What can one say about their mother? One may talk about her positive and negative characteristics. There are so many great traits I love and admire about my mom, that it would be difficult and unfair to write about just one. Being strong, generous and optimistic are all some great personality traits, which my mother possesses. Ever since I can remember, my mother has been a strong individual. She raised my brother and I financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually by herself. My mom gave her all, by that I mean, she worked two jobs to make sure her children ate properly and that they had the essential amenities to grow happily and successfully. Another way she supported us was with love and care. My mom...show more content... My mother My mother has always had strong faith and views in her religion. When I was younger, every day and night, she would bring prayer time to me and my brother's attention. My mom instilled As a child, my mother displayed the seriousness of spirituality. In which she expressed her faith in us at an early age, that prayer time was not the time to make jokes nor to complain about having to partake in it. One lesson she taught us the most, was how seriousness about our spiritual beliefs could provide us with a substantial, stable and structural lifestyle. My mother's heart is at its purest when giving. I witnessed my mother chip in and pay for people's rent, car notes, and buying them groceries. Although my mother's intentions were good, occasionally, her generosity has been taken advantage of. One time a close friend of the family, came to my mother in desperate need. He asked her to loan him a large amount of money, with the agreement that he would pay back in either monthly or weekly installments. My mom never did see the money that was due to her. Despite the incident she still gives and encourages others to give, whether is it a donation, or volunteering your time in your community. My Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Reflection On My Mother Essay A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and Bev Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in a lot of different activities. • 10. A Moment With My Mother Did you ever know a moment that somehow set a course for the rest of your future? That moment for me is when I met my mother. It's funny how I don't really remember that moment , but it will impact me for the rest of my life. I lerato Scott was born to Martha Bok on September 30,1999 in Pretoria , South Africa. I weighed in at about 2.6 pounds. Nice and healthy right? I lived with Martha for a short time after my birth, but due to her Tuberculosis and HIV AIDS she was unable to take care of me. At the time I was around 18 months I was brought to a Place of Safety, but was soon hospitalized when I started showing signs of TB. Along with TB I was battling herpes and ear infections as well as severe eczema. My eczema was so bad that it left my skin raw and bleeding. Every body craves that you can think of was cracked and bleeding. My neck , behind my ears , my armpits. You name it. Now normally at 18 months babies start to crawl around or even begin talking. Due to severe malnourishment I was doing none of these things. I even had plateaued in my growth at this point. I often ask my mother how she came to find me or how she even ended up in South Africa . Everytime she tells me she says it was purely a God thing. Dana Scott was working as a missionary at a place called Bethesda Outreach Ministries when I was placed in her care. Bethesda is an organization that provides orphans with a safe and loving family. • 11. Stronger through My Mom's Cancer Essay Everything is perfectly fine, everything is great, then one day it all comes crashing down and shattered pieces are left. My life would never be the same but I guess change is for the best and it forced me to become the person I am today. It's rough to be the oldest child, especially when your mom is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and you have 3 younger sisters that look to you for comfort when their mom can't be there. When the cancer is spread throughout your moms body doctors can't just get rid of it no matter how badly you wish they could. Rounds of chemotherapy only slow it down, yet it's still there a lurking monster waiting to reappear at any given moment. Nothing can even begin to describe the fear I felt, and still have to deal...show more content... An ambulance came and carried out my mom. I didn't know what was going on, so many questions running through my mind, what was wrong with her, was she going to be ok. I was scared, more scared then I had ever been. My sister Sheridan who was 8 asked me "what's happening?" through tears. On that day a little piece of me began to change because if I let her see my fear that would not help anyone, and so even though I didn't know what was happening I responded "everything is going to be ok" even though I did not trust my own words. When my dad came home that evening he sat me down and asked me if I knew what cancer was. I had an idea so I just nodded my head, he went on to tried to explain to me how bad the cancer was that my mom had been diagnosed with. Seeing my dad so afraid scared me. The fear I felt then led me to realize that I needed to try and hide it because it would only hurt my dad more to see his children so upset. I did my best to help, I tucked my little sisters into bed while my mom was away at the hospital, read them stories and did the best I could at preparing snacks to comfort them. After my mom arrived home and she recovered from the surgery she started chemotherapy. The miserable treatment that attacks the cancer also makes her very ill. Every other week she was sick. Before every bad week I wanted to cry, but that wouldn't help anyone. Lane and Kenna already were crying, if I cried it could only hurt my parents Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Essay About My Mother 's Pregnancy They talked just long enough for my father to get what we wanted out of the deal. Shortly after, she discovered that she was pregnant with me. I think it 's so funny now because my father likes to say "I just blew on your mom, and she got pregnant. I don 't know how that happened." During my mother 's pregnancy, she discovered a lot of things about my father that would make the average woman infuriated. She found out that he already had a daughter (my oldest sister, Tia) with another woman from his hometown, Detroit, Michigan. And while he was "seeing" her (for a better choice of words) he was also "seeing" another woman who lived in the same area of the city that she lived. And if that wasn 't enough, she found out that woman was also pregnant by my father with my oldest brother, Angel, who is only five months older than me. To make it even worse, she did not obtain any of this information from my father. She learned this information on a trip to the mall, from a mutual friend that my mother and Angel 's mother did not know they shared. My mother was extremely heartbroken and depressed after finding out all of this. She actually believed that her and my father had a future together; which is a joke in itself knowing my father's past. She was in a deep depression for a long period of time. But she knew that she would have to get over it because she was about to have a daughter. She that she would have to raise me regardless if my father were going to be in the picture Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Although it's hard to describe the pain that I felt, I can still remember her inner and outer beauty. Moreover, she fed me sacrificed proficient sleep. Also, I was very proud of my mother for going back to school to get her diploma. In my eyes, this made her a hero because of the obstacles that she had to overcome as an adult. To illustrate this point, she got pregnant during her senior year and had to drop out. However, being the strong, determined person that she was, she went back to school when my brother was six months old and earned her GED. I would illustrate my mother as a gorgeous, splendid, delicate, exquisite, delightful, well–educated woman. She gave birth to me as a young lady. She was the first person that I saw, it is obvious, in my opinion, that my mother was the best mother in the whole universe .First of all, my mother didn't get very much sleep for weeks when I awakened in the middle of the night crying. Second of all, she changed my diapers whenever I wet myself or sobbed myself, and watched me laugh every time that I smiled at her appearances. Third of all, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Due to shortage of material condition, she herself has trained an extremely strong will and ability to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We had to sell our house and leave for another town to begin from "zero". This critical time made every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women, strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief, and the way she overcame difficulties to move on has made an indelible impression in my mind, leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and was about to give up everything. After the constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to deal with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that was also the time that I acquired from my mother how to learn from her mistakes and developed my own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination. • 18. My Relationship With My Mother Essay My relationship with my mother, Jodi Lynn Borchert, started the day that I was born, February 25, 1995, and it continues to this day even though she lives in Idaho and I live in Colorado. She is a part of my family which is defined on p. 328 in our books as a "network of people who share their lives over long periods of time and are bound by marriage, blood, or commitment". Jodi is my biological mother and this makes us family through blood. To be more specific about my mother is that she is a part of my Nuclear family (p.329), a family consisting of a wife (my mother), husband (my father), and their biological child (me). All my life my mother has always called me Konis. As stated in our textbook on p. 193, words and phrases that have unique meanings to a particular relationship, such as pet names or private phrases with special meaning are called personal idioms. Every time my mom calls me Konis, my mom is using a personal idiom because only the two of us know the personal meaning behind the nick name that she calls me. Even though we don't know where she came up with the nick name. Since we both live a couple of states away from each other we both must have regular relationship maintenance (p. 304), meaning that we both make communication and supportive behaviors to sustain a desired relationship. I do this by making time once a week to call her just to talk about what's going on in her life. She also does this by talking to me one a week but also finding time to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
