Every person I have ever met has someone that they are able to look up to and can say that that
specific person is their hero. A very important person in my life that has affected me in many ways

morning to attend any of our sporting events, tournaments, or recitals, and then chauffeur us and

Becoming a father is a life changing experience. Most fathers will remember that one special day
for the rest of their lives, while other fathers say the day their child was born was the day their
life as they knew it was over. After sitting down and interviewing three different fathers who had
three very different experiences before and after child birth my eyes have been opened to the
multiple views, experiences, memories, and feelings these three gentlemen have experienced or
will soon experience. Mr. Snyder who is currently awaiting the birth of his first child in the spring

his wife experienced a very emotional and nerve wrecking pregnancy and birth of their two 4 month

gentlemen given that Mr. Shipley and the mother of his son are not in any type of relationship, nor

The hardest time in a person's life is often following the death of a close family member. Death is
hard, losing someone you love and see on a daily basis causes great grief and sorrow. For me that

It's obviously showed that with Vladek actions towards people we can understand why they feel
so low. Vladek throughout the story, he stresses the importance of his heart (comparing himself of

sweat, blood and tears (energy) it took to survive the Holocaust seems to build up and haunt
Vladek as present (life now). He needs to know that everyone ages and he has to accept the fact that

When my father died, my life changed drastically, but I did not realize it yet. I was only eight
years old; his death did not fully click, it had no affect on me. As I grew older, that is when it

Peter has mixed emotions when he sees the bright, shiny and new penny. He realizes that his
father had never forgotten that day; the two of them sitting together in the sand and expressing
their love for each other. Ultimately, this story reveals that love is not always expressed verbally.

father is a man of respect. I admire him as his first and oldest daughter. No matter how mad or

we are so caught up in the daily actions of the world that we miss certain things in the meantime.
As if we all have infinite time to do infinite things with the people that we carry dearly in our hearts
every single day. Life as we know however, is not always this beautiful. I found this outthe hard way
by losing my father, and falling into a depression I struggle with everyday. I had a very interesting

My parents had divorced when I was a child, I would go with my mom on weekdays, and my dad

indeed something he needed to do. This only made our time together less frequent than it was
already was. I was a very peculiar son however, I loved my parents there was never any question

relationship never evolved to the biggest it could be. After graduating high school last year, there
was a new sense of commitment in myself however. I was about to get a car and soon would be
