Crispin is a thirteen–year–old boy who lives with his mother in the small village of Stromford,
which is part of Lord Furnival's land. He has no father and is known simply as "Asta's son." When

stranger and John Aycliffe the village steward discussing "a great danger." They see Crispin and

Wellington? I have noticed that, when Christopher faces his fears to find the truth about Wellington,

more brave than scared because of his desire to unravel the truth therefore, he has built up enough

the less Miss Emily appeared until soon she was hardly seen at all and let no one into her home.
Even at Miss Emily's funeral the whole town came to satisfy some of their curiosity. Miss Emily

When something is valuable to you, you do not like sharing about it and it sharing about it means
you have to share your feelings, thoughts, and emotions with someone else. The book presents her
life, as the main character Anna also battles cancer. However, she does not hesitate sharing this with
Augustus because he already knows what it feels like to battle cancer. One of the many reasons that
Hazel feels a connection with this book is due to the fact that her favorite book describes what death
feels like without dying. Anna, the main character in An Imperial Affliction, says that she is "the
side effect," which Hazel agrees to. Hazel feels as the book is only meant for her, as she understands
how Anna might have felt when battling cancer. She is able to relate to the character so much that
