2. Tracks
The 5th edition of Codeavour consists of 2 Tracks and 5 Themes aligned with the United
Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
2.1. Track 1 - Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Where Young
Innovators Become Future Entrepreneurs
Embark on a transformative journey where innovation meets entrepreneurship in Codeavour
5.0. Harnessing the power of cutting-edge technologies to ideate, create, and bring student's
entrepreneurial visions to life.
â—Ź Save the Environment: This theme revolves around raising awareness, promoting
action, and finding innovative solutions to address environmental challenges and
preserve the planet for future generations. Find the ideas that emphasize the urgent
need to address various environmental issues, such as pollution, deforestation, climate
change, loss of biodiversity, and resource depletion.
â—Ź Strengthen the Health Infrastructure: Concentrate on strengthening and improving the
capacity, resilience, and accessibility of healthcare systems. Innovate to find ways to
improve Infrastructure Development, Healthcare Information Systems, Medical
Equipment and Technology, Human Resources and Training, Emergency Preparedness
and Response.
Page 6
â—Ź Revolutionize Agriculture: Explore ways to modernize and revolutionize the agricultural
sector for improved food security, sustainability, and efficiency. We encourage
participants to explore various dimensions of agricultural revolutionization, such as
Sustainable Farming Practices, Smart Agriculture and Technology, Urban and Vertical
Farming, Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, and Supply Chain and Distribution.
â—Ź Educate the World: Work towards enhancing the quality of education and promoting
gender equality. Choose this theme if your vision aligns with educating the world by
creating innovative solutions to promote an inclusive learning environment.
â—Ź Automate the Surroundings: Explore the application of automation, robotics, and
smart technologies to enhance and streamline various aspects of our surroundings and
everyday life. Reimagine and redesign how automation can be applied to various
settings, from homes and cities to industries. Explore various dimensions of automation
in different contexts, such as Smart Homes and Living Spaces, Intelligent Cities and
Infrastructure, and Industrial Automation.
2.2. Track 2 - AI Robo City Challenge: Unleashing the Power of AI and
Robotics for a Sustainable Future
Engage in a thrilling competition where AI-powered robots navigate the cityscape,
tackling real-world challenges and revolutionizing urban life. Showcase your expertise
in AI, ML, Robotics, and Intelligent systems as you shape the future of smart cities and
redefine the possibilities of urban living.
In response to the pressing global challenges of our time, such as climate change, urban
congestion (extremely crowded places), and environmental degradation, smart cities
have emerged as a visionary solution. These urban centers harness the power of
advanced technologies and innovative concepts to address these complex issues
proactively.
At the forefront of the battle against climate change, smart cities demonstrate an ideal
shift towards sustainability. By leveraging renewable energy sources and implementing
eco-friendly practices, they substantially reduce carbon emissions and mitigate
environmental harm. The strategic urban planning of these cities emphasizes the
creation of green spaces, ensuring clean air quality, and establishing efficient public
transportation systems. Smart cities embody a harmonious blend of urban
development and ecological preservation.
In the game field of AI Robo City Challenge, your robots will help install, repair, and
manage the different tasks and challenges.

3. Age Groups, Team Size & Participation Fees
Anyone from age 7 to 18 can take part in Codeavour 5.0 International as per the following
three age groups:
1. Elementary: 7-10 Years (Grade 3 to Grade 5)
2. Junior: 11-14 Years (Grade 6 to Grade 8)
3. Senior: 15-18 Years (Grade 9 to Grade 12)
Team Size: You can take part individually or make a team of a maximum of three members.
Note:
1. It’s highly recommended all team members should belong to the same age group. In the
case of different age groups, the age of the eldest will be considered to determine the
age group.
2. The starting date of the competition must be taken as a reference to calculate the age.
Participation Fees: Every team has to pay 2000 INR (Indian participants) or 25 USD
(International participants) as a registration fee. This is a one-time fee; no additional fees for
regionals, nationals, and internationals will be charged.
Some countries have different registration fees as finalized by the Country Partner. Please
check the details on the https://codeavour.org/.
Note:
Page 8
1. Under-represented students facing financial constraints or seeking fee discounts can
access Scholarship codes through Codeavour 5.0's official partners.
2. Teams need to manage their travel and accommodations themselves or with a school or
training partner's support to participate in the physical events at various levels.
4. Stages of Participation
The competition will happen in six stages:
4.1. Stage 1: Registration
At this stage, teams will register themselves on the registration page of Codeavour 5.0
International by filling in all the required information and paying the registration fees.
Registration will be open from October 27, 2023.
Note: Bulk registration and payment options are available for official partners of
Codeavour 5.0. Using this, you can register multiple teams in one time process.
4.2. Stage 2: Preparation
Once successfully registered, the next stage is preparing for the competition. Whether
you are participating in Track 1 or Track 2, The Codeavour team will assist you in
preparing for the competition. You can prepare in the following ways:
â—Ź Self-Learning Resources: The Codeavour team will provide you with
self-learning resources for both Tracks, which can be accessed under the team’s
dashboard and easily by logging on to the official website of Codeavour 5.0.
â—Ź Live Learning Sessions: The official team will conduct regular live sessions on
the latest technologies like AI, ML, AR, VR, Python Coding, Robotics, etc. All the
registered participants will be able to access these sessions live or in recorded
form.
â—Ź Doubt-Solving Sessions: Throughout the Codeavour, the team will also organize
regular doubt-solving sessions where participants can discuss and resolve their
doubts with experts associated with Codeavour 5.0 International.
Page 9
â—Ź Premium Workshops or Bootcamps: Apart from the above free resources,
Participants can also opt for premium paid programs offered by the official
partner of Codeavour.
4.3. Stage 3: Submission
Once you are fully prepared, you can start working on your innovative project if you are
taking part in Track 1 or can start building your robot for Track 2. Next, you must
complete the online submission per the rules and regulations of the associated Tracks.
Note: The submitted projects will not be visible to anyone; this submission is to verify
that the projects are aligned with Codeavour 5.0 guidelines. In case of numerous
entries, the initial screening may happen at this level.
In case of a large number of teams, schools or academic partners are suggested to
conduct a school-level competition at this stage and nominate the top performers for
the regional level. However, every team has to complete a submission to earn the
participation certificates.
4.4. Stage 4: Regionals
After the successful submission of your project in online mode and passing the online
verification and screening, teams will be invited to the regional level of competition. All
participating teams will earn regional-level certificates, and top performers will get
tickets to the National Level.
Notes: The numbers and locations of regional events may vary from country to country.
The details will be available with official country partners and on the official website of
Codeavour 5.0.
Page 10
4.5. Stage 5: Nationals
The top-performing teams of regional competitions will be invited to a national-level
competition. The number of teams selected from regionals may vary from country to
country based on the number of teams participating. All participating teams will earn
national-level certificates, and top performers will get tickets to the International Level.
If regional-level events are not happening in countries, the submission will be evaluated
online, and top performers will be invited to the national level directly.
4.6. Stage 6: International
The top-performing teams of various national-level competitions will compete in an
international showdown in Dubai, UAE.
If any regional or national level events are not happening in any countries, the
submission will be evaluated online, and top performers will be invited to the
international level directly.
Notes: The dates and locations of all regional and national level competitions will be
updated on the website on a time-to-time basis, and all respective teams of that region
will be notified.
Page 11
5. Prizes
A total of 100 prizes and fellowship worth $45000 will be distributed among top performers.
