Promotional           Cornerstone was the second single from the
                      Arctic Monkeys album Humbug. Arctic
                      Monkeys have their own website where they
                      have uploaded all their videos on it so anybody
                      can watch it. They also upload previews on their
                      songs on their YouTube channel where anyone
                      could watch it and once again this teases their
                      fans.

                      They also have their own twitter page where
                      they promote their own music and each band
                      members has their own twitter page bringing a
                      bigger audience. They also have their own          The bands official twitter page.
                      Facebook page where they also upload their
                      videos and news about upcoming albums and
                      tours.

Extension of income   Arctic Monkeys website has many links to their
                      songs and videos they have uploaded but also
                      they have picture of themselves and also gig
                      information.
                      They also have their own membership which
                      you can buy and get more access into the bands
                      life and also you can receive first chance to buy
                      tickets for their gigs. There’s also a link to their
                      store where you can merchandise such as t-
                      shirts and stationary.

                      Arctic Monkeys have their own record
                      company who have their own YouTube channel
                      and upload their videos for them which is also
                      promoting the label and other bands who are
                      signed to it.

                      You can also watch their music videos on music
                      channels such as VIVA and kerrange.

Extension of outlets   Due to their videos being on YouTube this gives
                       them more popularity because anybody can
                       watch it but also YouTube is one of the biggest
                       outlets on the web which is viewed by millions
                       of people each day. For every time you watch
                       the official Arctic Monkeys video which has
                       been uploaded by their record label they will
                       get some money for it bringing in a profitable
                       income and Cornerstone is one of their most
                       popular songs out there.

Synergy                Arctic Monkeys teamed up with the charity
                       Oxfam and their single Cornerstone was
                       available on vinyl in their charity shops. This
                       would make the CD available to more people
                       who can’t afford much and who want to raise
                       money for charity.
Producers strategies   The producers probably did this due to the fact
                       if a band went out of their way to make a
                       charity single then people would feel sympathy
                       for the band and what they’re doing to help less
                       fortunate people. It would also come across
                       that the band do care about their fans and give
                       them a good name.
