What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?

2. Pre-production
When planning our film, we used the internet to
research films that are focused on domestic violence
so we could get ideas for what to involve in our
movie. When we found these films, we used YouTube
to watch the first few minutes of them and get ideas
for what we could include in our film.
Also, as we have three people in our group, we gave
each person a job to do to get the planning done
faster.

3. Filming
When filming, we used a Nikon D3200 camera
to film all the different shots.
We used the internet to find some copy right free
music for the film.
We didn’t use any equipment for the lighting in
the film, we just dulled it down in the editing to
make the mood more tense and show that the
film isn’t happy.

4. Editing
When editing the film, we used Windows Movie
Maker.
For the music of our film we used the internet and
added the copy right free music.
Once we had got the film all completed and put
together, we toned down the lighting to make it dull
to create a tense mood. This is because the film isn’t
a bright and cheerful subject and the lighting in the
shots were bright.

5. Evaluation
The final outcome of our film wasn’t great
compared to other class members. This is due to
not having professional equipment and not
excellent editing skills. This could have been
improved by using a better editing site as we
only used Windows Movie Maker for the editing.
Also, having better equipment to film would
have made a massive improvement on our final
product.
