4. Skeletal muscles
Skeletal muscles are muscles attached
to the skeleton. They help us perform
voluntary actions, and we would not
be able to move without them.
Skeletal muscles work in pairs. When
one muscle contracts the other
muscle relaxes.
Your bicep
is a very
good
example of
this.
5. Smooth muscles
Smooth muscles are found in your
organs, such as your intestines and
stomach.
Smooth muscles are INVOLUNTARY
(They work automatically).
