1. Intervention Lesson Plan Assignment
Due Session 12 – April 14, 2011
1. Participants will select three bubble students with similar reading deficiencies.
2. Attain background information on each student.
• Important Factors to look at:
o School Attendance
o Has the student been previously retained?
o Home Environment
o Parental Involvement
o Does the student attend before/after school tutoring
o Grades
o FCAT Scores
o PSAT or SAT Scores
o Success Maker Data
o FAIR Data
• Once you have collected all your data, write a report that includes the
following:
o Background information
o Summary of information attained
3. Develop an intervention lesson plan that includes three sessions. Each session
will include the following:
Set a GOAL for each session.
Create an ACTIVITY (attach artifacts for each activity) to support
your goal for each session.
2. Write about what you OBSERVED during the activity/lesson.
Write a REFLECTION about the activity/lesson and the impact it had
on student learning. For example, what additional support does the
student need or was the strategy effective.
4. The intervention lesson plan must be typed and submitted to the instructor.
There should be THREE intervention lesson plans submitted along with an
artifact for each activity.
