Blogger
During the construction of our music video
we used many different software's. One of
the main programme we used was
blogger. Blogger is something we started
using from when we started the course at
AS level. We used this programme to write
a somewhat dairy of the journey of
creating our music video. I enjoyed using
blogger for our research and research stage
as I was able to add pictures, videos and
even audio files making my blog look
much more interesting than the ordinary.
It being an online process aloud us to have
access to it anywhere as it was even
available on our phones.
3.
YouTube
Another software we used a lot of
was YouTube to watch videos this was
to allow me to watch different music
videos, analyse them and look for
typical conventions which needed to be
added to our music video. This also
helped us watch the original video
enabling us to make linkage between
the original and our own production. It
lastly helped us to post our final video
on their and gain feedback which was
very important for one of our evaluation
questions.
4.
Final cut
Final cut was our main editing programme,
this programme is where we made our
music video from scratch at first looking at
this programme made me believe it was
a very hard system to use but after getting
help from other members of my group who
were more experienced using this software
it became a lot more easier to use. With final
cut we were able to add the audio of Happy
on and place our shots over it while trying
to match the lip syncing. Editing our video
did take a lot of our time as we wanted to
get it perfect and looking like a proper
music videos. After many errors we were
able to put the whole video together with
the professional look we were looking for.
5.
IPhone
Another new technology we used
during the construction of our
music video was an IPhone 6. We
used this during filming. We felt
this was the best product to use as
it has high quality camera quality
and long lasting battery. This was
seen to be better than the canon
cameras we used because the canon
cameras seemed to run out of
battery quicker than the iPhones
also the quality was quite low.
6.
Photoshop
This was the main programme used to
create our ancillary texts. Again at first
this programme was quite hard to use but
after getting help from two people of my
group who were again experienced
with Photoshop due to them picking
photography for a levels I started getting
the hang of the software and was able to
pick the right tools to enable our poster to
stand out as much as possible.
7.
PowToon
During my evaluation I decided to use
something new and modern to answer one
of my questions using different effects
making the texts pop out. I believed using
this was a good idea as it gives my blog
that much more exciting look. This is
something I would want to use for future
purposes.
8.
Slideshare
For another of my evaluation
questions I used slide share to
answer the question in a more
presentable way. I created my
presentation through PowerPoint. I
feel this made my blog stand out
even more as looked a lot more
appealing than just writing a post
which looks more like an essay.
