Why College Education Is Important to Me
"Why college education is important to me". By Janelle D. Crichlow EN110 Achieving Academic Excellence Ashworth College A college degree
is important for a variety of reasons for both the young and the old, namely to develop or improve one's trade skills, to experience different
cultures and to increase one's educational background in order to attain a higher paying job. For me, a college degree is important because it will
help me to attain the educational background I need to make myself more marketable in the ever changing workforce. It will also provide me with
the confidence and skills needed to apply for a better paying job or aid me in attaining the ever elusive promotion, if I so desire. John G. Ramsay, a

For me personally, the college degree obtained will aid me in being able to better complete the tasks to which I am assigned at work. It will also
give my boss actual evidence that I have the necessary skills needed to be promoted to a higher and better paying position. A college degree will
give me the knowledge base I need to compete in the workforce. College life makes it possible for students to meet and be acquainted with people
from all works of life and to possibly build work contacts with these people later in life. It provides students with access to differing cultures,
personalities and attitudes and provides students with the playground to learn to handle them. Due to the fact that a college student is exposed to
varying subject matters, both in and out of his faculty, a student can demonstrate to his employee that he is better equipped to handle learning new
concepts since he is more "well rounded" and knowledgeable in different areas, both in and out of his job scope. The efficiency at making and
completing short, medium and long term goals, displayed by the student, allows the employer to ascertain how effective the employee will be at
setting and achieving his goals and how effective he will be with time management and multitasking. In conclusion, a college degree will provide me
with the hope and means of attaining the heights I intend to reach in my workplace. It will provide me with the confidence and peace of mind that I

Essay on Academic and Career Goals
ACADEMIC2 Academic and Career Goals
Sometimes it seems like life is inhibiting me from achieving my goals. I define my objectives as I see them. I associate them with my values.
Knowing that the task at hand is essential to realizing my dreams, but I am unable to do it. I have thought about other ways to get around the problem,
I keep getting back to the talent I'm missing. Accomplishing a new ability might feel like a huge undertaking. It's been my experience that if a talent is
necessary in getting closer to achieving my dreams, education is not a bad thing after all. I begin on an excursion to take the first of many steps gaining

During this day and age, numerous individuals are going back to the school to further their education; due to many families having challenging times in
making their ends meet. The employers are seeking individuals who possess college degrees; which inspires people to further their education. Having a
college degree often leads individuals into a secure and a well–paying job in order to adequately support their family. In today's society and principles,
individuals with a college degree are viewed to be more devoted, well–informed, teachable, and respected to potential businesses.
Additionally, when I was younger and inexperienced, my day dreams were of going college and gaining the experience that would lead me to a
successful career. Unnecessary time had passed; and unfortunately, I had to work instead of continuing on with school. Many of my older friends talked
about their experiences, and my high school friends were also excited about the idea of joining the working class. After being employed with several
jobs, I felt as if my life was not reaching full potential. My self–esteem became low and I felt distraught. Furthermore, I needed to motivate myself and
decided to pursue my college degree. There is a point in everyone's life where they will have to become financially independent. Unfortunately, for
some people this process can be difficult. Planning my life has been a roller

College Professors Essay
College Professors
The first day of class for a college student is like drawing cards in a poker game. Just as the cards that one receives determines their outcome in
poker, the types of professors a student gets on the first day will determine the success of their year. The difference between a helpful and a harmful
professor can easily result in a much lower grade. College professors have a wide range of personalities and backgrounds. However, professors fall into
one of 3 categories: helpful, malicious, or uncaring.
One type of professor in the college system is the helpful professor. This professor can be recognized right away by their smile and joyfulness in the
classroom. These professors give upbeat and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This professor has a sour attitude toward life in general; therefore they want the students to be miserable as well. Their lectures are never to the point
and usually stray off to make some negative point about life. They encourage students to ask questions, but only so that they can make the person with
the question feel incompetent for asking it. They are willing to talk with a student after class, but unlike the helpful professor, the malicious professor
is only there to criticize. They will emphasize the student's faults but never point out their strengths, thus lowering the self–esteem of the student. The
tests given by the malicious professor are vague, full of trickery, and composed of the most difficult material. These tests are not designed to survey
the student's knowledge of the subject, but rather to trip them up and make them fail. If one works really hard it is possible to earn a good grade in
this type of professor's class, but in general the grades will be as low as the malicious professor can make them.
The third type of professor is the uncaring professor. This type of instructor has lost interest in teaching; therefore, they do not put any effort into it.
This professor can be recognized by their monotonous tone of voice and lack of interest of the subject. Their lectures only cover the basics of the
material. They make no effort to appeal to the students' interests; consequently, most students can hardly pay

College: Is it Still worth it? Essay
Elementary school, middle school, high school, college―that's how we're told our education careers should go. After college you go on and get a job
based on the degree you received. Seems simple right? According to Erik Lowe in his Seattle Times article "Keep Washington's College Tuition
Affordable," he informs that people in his generation are the first to be less educated than their parents, in the United States. He explains that this is due
to the high cost of tuition followed by a huge amount of student loan debt. Lowe believes that there needs to be a significant change in the country's
higher education systems (in reference to the tuition costs) or the decline of college attendance will continue. There needs to be a decrease of ... Show

Why does the tuition cost so much more? This leaves college students baffled and stressed about how much money they're paying and what they're
even paying for. As it is, there is about $1 trillion in college debt in America. A Philadelphia Enquirer article warns that, "The average debt owed per
person is $25,000 –– the highest level of student debt in the nation's history," and that the number is increased by tens of thousands of dollars for
those who go on to get higher degrees. $25,000 is a lot but the reality is that a lot of people have even more than that. For example, what if someone
goes to an expensive private college and their tuition is anywhere between 30 and 70 thousand per year. In total they could be paying between 120 and
240 thousand dollars per year. The majority of the country is most likely unable to easily pay for that and could end up with extensive amounts of debt
just because they went to the college that they wanted to. Student's education shouldn't be compromised just because the school they want to go to has
a high tuition. Alarmingly, "Study after study has shown the number one barrier to attending college is the published rate of tuition."(Lowe) The
amount of student debt as a result of a school's high tuition should decide where people should go to school. If tuition is decreased then
simultaneously, student debt would be as well. If college

In our case "Faculty Empowerment & the Changing University Environment" we came across two separate subjects both of which our group can relate

such change might have affected administrational structure on empowering faculty. We used the data provided to us in the case study to determine the

Parents, the general public and the media seem to applaud these efforts (Wiggins). The scores on these standardized tests, such as the ITBS, are

teaching to the test is beneficial for raising university's test scores, then maybe we should change the whole university environment to become more
aligned with those elements that would foster improvement on these tests. If it raises test scores it must be sound educational practice. Can this be
accurate? Empowerment Through Online Education
In a 2007 report published by the Sloan Consortium, most universities stated that the main reasons they continued to expand their online education
programs were because such programs improved student access to education. For example, when universities offer courses online, they can work
around limited classroom space, instructor shortages, and conflicting course schedules to offer more students more classes. Similarly, in taking an
online course that allows them to complete assignments at their own pace, students can work around their busy course and work schedules, as well as
tailor their coursework to their own personal learning styles. Students increasingly enroll in online courses over their summer break while they live
with their parents and work summer jobs.

College Athletes Should Not Be Exempt from Regular Class...
Many college athletes miss classes because of practice, competition and from exhaustion.
For those reasons, supporters argue for exemption of athletes from class attendance policies.
Others argue that college athletes are given scholarships to attend college to play sports. On the contrary, the focus of colleges is educating students.
The question is, should colleges athletes be exempt from the class attendance requirements? The answer is no and here is why. First, theeducation of
athletes takes priority over recreational activities. Second, it is unfair for athletes to receive preferential treatment. Third, exempting athletes from the
policies does not allow them to develop time management skills. For these reasons the college ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After all, athletes are not born they train hard to get their skills and do remarkably on the court. The philosophy here is athletes must work equally hard
in the classroom. (Emma) stated in "A College Perspective on Academic and the Student Athlete."
Coach & Athletic Director "As more eyes open to the athlete's challenges and struggles, more ideas and strategies will emerge to help them succeed not
only in–between the lines of the playing field or court, but in the lecture halls, science labs, and classrooms as well." Thus, education is a key element
that produces academic achievers, tomorrow's leaders and balance adults. Given these points, the student athletes must recognize the importance class
attendance.
For the longest time it has been known that student athletes often miss classes. Moreover, athlete miss classes to attend practice, take part in
competition and from exhaustion. Also, some athletes are going to leave college early and enter professional sport. Consequently, they skip classes
and slide through college. Of course, colleges with attendance policies requires students to attend classes a certain amount of time and so should the
athletes. Whenever athletes miss classes their academic performance is usually affected. As a matter of fact, it is difficult for them to keep up the
grades required for them to keep the scholarship reward and stay on the team. By the same token, exempting

Being accredited is how an institution is recognized as a university having a legitimate degree program. The value of the degree you receive is based

According to an article written in the New York Times, and quoted in ahigher education watchdog website, "scores of students are dropping out of the
University of Phoenix, the largest chain of for–profit colleges in the country, fed up because their academic experiences bear no resemblance to the
promises that were made to them by duplicitous recruiters. Most of these students are leaving hugely indebted. Contributing to the poor graduation
rate, current and former students who studied at University of Phoenix campuses or online complained of instructional shortcuts, unqualified
professors, and recruiting abuses" (Burd, 1). There are some business organizations that do not recognize them as a credible education system. For
example, I worked for the insurance company Geico, and they offered tuition reimbursement if you attend an accredited university. However because of
their unorthodox style of teaching, and not being a traditional four year university, they did not recognize them as a legitimate university and would not
reimburse any tuition.
All of the accrediting organizations are overseen by an organization called CHEA, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. CHEA ensures that
all the regulations and standards are uniform throughout the agencies, and based on their definition, all the organizations should

Making a Change: Education for African Americans Essay
Malcolm X once said, "without education, you are not going anywhere in this world" ("Malcolm X – Quotations"). He meant that African Americans

decision will determine the rest of their life. The decision is whether they will attend college or not. Some may say that is not a huge difference, but

College Students: Cheating and Morality Essay
Introduction Academic dishonesty is a threat to every student and every institution of higher education. The very act runs contrary to the fundamental
values of higher education (Bowers, 1964). Dishonesty compromises the integrity of the individual student as well as the reputation of the institution
(Engler, Landau, & Epstein, 2008; Gallant, 2008). Many researchers have indicated that cheating is a serious problem on campuses (Bowers, 1964;
Engler et al., 2008; Gallant, 2008; Leming, 1978; McCabe, Trevino, & Butterfield, 2001). Studies completed by Bowers (1964) and McCabe and
Trevino (1996) revealed nearly identical results regarding student–cheating behavior despite the 30 year time span; both studies identified that... Show

The need to systematically foster academic integrity is critical (Whitley & Keith–Spiegel, 2001). While the problem of cheating has persisted in higher
education, the perceived seriousness of cheating continues to change (McCabe & Trevino, 1996; Stephens, Young, & Calabrese, 2007). Notably,
students with higher moral development levels view cheating more seriously than those with lower moral development levels (Leming, 1978;
Semerci, 2006). While the process of going to college promotes students' moral development (King & Mayhew, 2002) and higher moral development
levels correlate to lower incidences of cheating (Leming, 1978), determining the relationship between the two is necessary. Prior research has
demonstrated a positive relationship between higher moral development levels and lower cheating incidences; however, most data is more than 30
years old (Leming, 1978). Since 1978, only three studies have been published relating moral development and cheating (Austin, Simpson, & Reynen,
2005; Leming, 1978; Semerci, 2006). Leming (1978) used Kohlberg's (1958) theory of moral development (Appendix B) and James Rest's Defining
Issues Test (DIT) (1979) (Appendix C), to determine relationships between cheating and non–cheating behaviors. Kohlberg's theory and the DIT have
been widely used and proven valid during the past three decades (King & Mayhew,

Norwich University Tuition: A Souring Cost Essay
On average college students owe $35,200 in debt due to high costs of college (Ellis). This is a very frightening statistic that is a sad reality to many
college students today. Students graduate and are shocked by the dollar amount they owe because of student loans. Sadly, most struggle to pay off
these debts, and it often takes years to do so. Private universities tend to be more expensive then public universities, due to the fact they are not
partially funded by the state where they are located. As American families are becoming more aware of these high costs they are thinking twice about
applying to the private universities. Norwich University, a private university in Vermont is among those high priced schools. Norwich just this year...

If a student receives the highest scholarship the cost is still a steep $32,000 a year. National averages show the cost of a private university in the US
to be around $29,056 (College Board). This sheds light on how high the cost of Norwich really is and that even with the highest available
scholarship, Norwich would still cost $2,944 more than the national average of a private school. Now that the myth of Norwich offering
scholarships that offset the cost making it the same cost as other schools has proven to be false, we can explore how this cost is hurting Norwich
students and the university as well. College seeking students are facing a hard reality. They may not be able to attend the school they most desire if
they can not get a good scholarship, or they will need to choose a school less desirable because it is among the few they can afford. This proves to be
a serious problem, limiting student's decisions by limiting their choices. Students might choose to attend an expensive school of their choosing and find
that they do not have the funds to pay the tuition and then are forced to leave the school. Such situations are evident at Norwich by data provided by
the Department of Education, an interesting statistic to note is that the retention rate at Norwich University is 77% (National Center for Education
Statistics). This means every new school year Norwich only holds about 77% of the students it had the prior year. However, not all of the

Good Will Hunting and Bell Hooks' Keeping Close to Home Essay
Going off to college is probably one of the best things a person can do to further their education. The promise of a degree from a university seems
achievable but is shadowed with the many challenges that come with a higher edification. Often many college students find themselves bothered by
these obstacles which can determine whether the college student succeeds or not. There are many endeavors in college but it depends on how the
student reacts to these situations.

In the essay entitled Keeping Close to Home: Class and Education, the author Bell Hooks tells of her struggles when she goes off to the prestigious
college Stanford University at the age of 18. Coming from a working low class economic background hooks deals with ridicule from her family and
the difficulties of adjusting from a lower class to a higher class setting at Stanford. The dilemma that Hooks' face with her family is; she states,
"My parents had not been delighted that I had been accepted and adamantly opposed my going so far from home" (p. 161). Reason for this adamant
feeling was that Hooks was brought up during a period when women didn't really leave the house to go to school. It was unheard of to leave a small

College Preparedness Essay
People choose to go to college for a myriad of reasons. Some attend college because of the expectations of their parents or society. Others go to
college because of the increased earning potential that a college education can provide. Still others decide to go to college to expand their knowledge
in an area of particular interest. William Cory, a 19th Century English schoolmaster said, "You go to school not for knowledge so much as for arts and
habits." The arts and habits that Cory proposes that students are pursuing are certainly things that a student might learn in college. However, I don't

Some people might not appreciate these requirements at the time, but may find an interest in a subject they never would have explored had it not
been an educational requirement. College students are also required to take classes that teach them to write research papers. The process of
researching and writing these papers can teach students new habits. Among these are what Cory calls, "assuming . . . a new intellectual posture" and
"regarding minute points of accuracy." However, it would be a mistake to believe that a college is the only place one could acquire these habits and
"self–knowledge."
If Cory is correct that students go to a great school to learn "the habit of working out what is possible in a given time, for taste, for discrimination,"
then one could conclude that those who haven't gone to college lack those traits. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 39% of
students enrolled in colleges in 1999 were twenty–five years or older. (NCES, 1) This would seem to indicate that many people are delaying their
education for various reasons. Some go directly to the work force after high school for financial reasons. Others might join the military or choose to
explore the world around them before going to college. There are also some students who may feel they are not cut out for college because of poor

Why College Athletes Shouldn't Be Paid
Why Not to Pay College Athletes After numerous scandals over the past several years of college athletes receiving improper benefits, the question has
come up whether or not college athletes should be paid or not. College sports are a growing industry, and we have seen money destroy organizations,
teams, and players in this industry. The determination and motivation of college athletes supersedes professional athletes by their will to win;
therefore, college athletes should not be paid. The law that prevents college athletes from receiving money is called Title IX. Title IX was passed in
1972, and states that all money should go equally for all sports and no team should be excluded. Originally this law was created to preserve equal ...

"Likewise, almost all NCAA championships "lose money." However, overall NCAA revenue, primarily derived from the Association's media
agreements and the popularity of the Division I Men's Basketball Championship, helps 400,000 student–athletes at more than 1,000 member
institutions learn and compete in 23 sports and 88 national championships" (NCAA 2). Most colleges typically lose money on most of their sporting
teams, and with the income from the few sport teams they are able to provide for other students. Since a lot of colleges are losing money in the
industry, they wouldn't be able to pay the athletes if they don't generate revenue. This would cause students to go to colleges that make money
knowing they would be getting paid, compared to a college that doesn't have financial stability to pay athletes. College would not be college anymore.
The universities would become franchises and inevitably turn into a smaller version of the NFL. The law Title IX makes it mandatory for each team
to provide the same amount of benefits to each student. From the incomes to these few sports, the less popular sports at schools would be cut because
they do not have enough revenue coming in to pay the players. "("Student–athletes generate billions of dollars for universities and private companies
while earning nothing for themselves.") This is indisputably untrue. Student–athletes earn free tuition, which

College Costs Are Out Of Control Essay
People with college degrees are paid 80% more than people with only a high school education. When the college degree is from a more prestigious
school, that percentage increases even further (McArdle). Even President Barack Obama acknowledged this in a 2012 speech, saying that "The
incomes of folks with a college degree are twice as high as those who don't have a high–school diploma" (Lemann). While a college education is a good
investment for the long run, the cost of college is not a positive. The price of goods has risen due to inflation over the past decade, but during that time
college increased drastically. The rates have nearly doubled, but the things that students learn still remain the same. If students are paying so much more

and Vance). Not only is college becoming more common, but it would make sense that with more students coming into college that the rates would be
lower. However, colleges are not decreasing costs, but instead increasing them, making tuition costs harder on students. The job market is evolving,
causing college to be essential to anyone that wants to pursue a job. In a 2012 speech, President Barack Obama said that "right now, the unemployment
rate for Americans with a college degree or more is about half the national average" (Lemann). This shows that even with a college degree, the job
market is changing, causing many students to be unemployed.Yet at the same time, people that have a college education are better off than those
without one. Moreover, the current job market is becoming more information based, which requires more literacy, math skills and critical thinking.

Essay # 1 Summary
September 10, 2011 Caroline Bird's essay "College is a Waste of Time and Money" explains her beliefs on why, for some people, going to college is
an ineffective and inefficient use of their time. She states that many students do not belong in college because they are there for the wrong reasons and
they are not happy learning. She also gives evidence to suggest that going to college and getting a degree does not actually allows a person to make
more money in their life time. Her final claim is that college does not prepare most students for the real world and the jobs they will have once they
graduate. Bird believes most students are not in college for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Bird's second point is that, contrary to popular belief, college is not the best monetary investment a young person can make. Bird explains this by
comparing the money that would be spent on education versus money that is put in a bank for interest. The outcome shows investing money that would
otherwise be spent on a college education would earn over half a million dollars more than the earnings of a male college graduate compared to a
non–graduate. Bird also states that even if a graduate makes more money in their job than a non–graduate, there is no evidence that the higher income
is due to their college education. She attributes financial success to luck rather than a college education. In this argument she mainly puts forth
logical reasons why college is not for everyone. She shows actual dollar amounts that logically prove an education is not necessarily the most
profitable investment. Bird's final point is that college does not prepare most people for the jobs they are going to have in the future. She states the
work attached to most jobs is totally unrelated to their college education. For example, although there are many graduates with a psychology degree,
there are only so many jobs in psychology. The remaining graduates are forced to find jobs with work unrelated to the degree they have obtained. Also,
she brings up the point that college does not make people intelligent and successful, but successful and intelligent people go to

An Innocent Man Wronged in Oleanna Essay
Sometimes there are events in our lives that we cannot control. These events occur, more or less, due to our own actions. Sometimes, however, we
must come to terms with our inability to handle certain situations and also to reach our goals. These events are facts of life everyone: some people
can't run as fast, or lift as much, or write as well. It is during these times that we must focus on what we can do well, and try to direct our goals around
those features that make us good at something. In David Mamet's Oleanna, John loses his job and his house due to Carol's ignorance, lack of
self–confidence, and overall inability to come to terms with her own short–comings as a student. This play epitomizes an act of complete degradation

John: Well, let's address that. What do you think? Carol: I don't know. John: What do you think, though? (pause) Carol: I don't know.
That exchange of dialogue on page 29 sums up Carol's lack of self–confidence. She won't even take the plunge, and try to talk about a subject brought
up in class. John tries to get her to give an opinion on a subject that carol obviously doesn't understand, in an attempt to help her comprehend. Carol
doesn't believe that she has any ability, or else she would have at least tried to answer his question, a question that isn't hard in and of itself to
understand––What do you think? Other examples of her total lack of self–confidence can be found earlier in the play: "...and I walk around. From
morning 'til night: with this one thought in my head. I'm stupid (12)." What kind of person thinks of themselves as stupid, all the time? Carol
obviously has no confidence in her abilities to do anything, and she feels that everyone around her thinks she's stupid as well. On the very next page
even, Carol accuses John of calling her stupid. She is so deliberate in her belief that she takes what John says out of context, and turns it into an insult

voice – published an opinion piece titled "The government's Rmb 800,000 award to Li Na is against the ethics of public finance." According to the
article, "the government should provide more timely help to those who are in need, and less pointless gliding the lily." It goes on saying that "Li Na

Rmb to provide timely help, used it recklessly in awarding the sportsman." "Whose money is it? Who authorized it? Based on what?" quipped Xinhua,
the national news agency, on its official Weibo page.

In addition, internships are also very competitive; many opportunities may be available through campus job in one's field. Federal and state
governments award "work–study" funding to all colleges and universities (McGuire). Campus jobs can be great for someone who wants to minimize
driving expenses. Next, many general skills one may learn in college are essential to success. For instance, public speaking is a great skill to have.
The ability to speak clearly and persuasively in front of people is one of the most important skills anyone can obtain. Dustin Wax explains, in the
article "10 Skills You Need to Succeed at Almost Anything," that for many jobs, public speaking could be an important role. In addition, writing is an
important skill for all subjects. Writing well offers many advantages. For example, good writers may excel at selling products and their ideas.
Someone with a good sense of grammar has the advantage over one who does not. Finally, self–management is a key skill for a promising future
(Wax). Balancing factors of one's life will dramatically enhance the output of one's future. Next, the simple fact is that some careers require a degree.
Now this may range anywhere from an associate degree to a master's degree. Some examples that require a two–year degree are dental hygienists,
pharmacy technicians and paralegals. To be qualified to be a teacher, journalist, or even an accountant one must receive a

Comparison and Contrast Essay
Definition: In this kind of essay, the aim is to show the similarities and differences of two items, two people, two countries, or how something or
someone has changed. When comparing two things, we focus more on the similarities though we may mention the differences shortly. When
contrasting two things, we point out the differences between them. The most important point to consider while planning a comparison and contrast

The Higher Price of Higher Education
The High Price of Higher Education In America's society today, students are expected to follow the path of day care, grade school, middle school,
high school and hopefully college. Growing up in America today, the importance of education is stressed starting at the earliest stages of development.
In a world with a competitive job market and with citizens who want to make the most money that they can, a college education is key in success. For
some students, financing college is not a problem. Money should not be a factor in the student's decision–making process when choosing what school
to attend, but unfortunately many people are unable to attend the university of their choice due to the high costs. Working through college is not... Show

If this is the case then there should be documentation of these increases but, "academic institutions have made little effort either on or off campus to
make themselves transparent to explain their finances," (Tuition Rising). There is no documentation that describes what every penny of tuition pays
for. It is only stated that it goes toward "administrative costs, faculty salaries, technology, Federal regulation, endowment, State appropriations,"
(Tuition Rising). But why are the costs rising? Patrick M. Callan, president of the National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, states that
"there's not much going on in either private or public higher education that is very serious about cost control," (Tuition Rising). He believes that
"Underlying all this is that more kids are graduating from high school every year, most of them want to go to college, and so it's a seller's market.
Universities raise tuition because they can,"(Tuition Rising). This makes us wonder if universities are tricking us of our money since they have not
documented where tuition is going. In order to avoid confusion from students and parents who want answers, the government should require
institutions to have documentation of what tuition is funding.
Financial aid is a popular choice for students to fund their college education, which presently costs an average of "$15,566 for an undergraduate student

In backpacks vs briefcase logos is defined as "... argument from reason, and it usually appeals to an audience's intellectual side. As audiences we want

The university, or the "school."
Students come each year to campuses such as the University of Arkansas, or the University of Texas to begin their undergraduate education. These
campuses are a group of ever–changing buildings and monuments that make up what people think of as, "the university." The definition of a school
according to Webman's Unabashed Dictionary, is as follows. "A group of humans moving together through the mind." This suggests that the university,
or any school for that matter, is not bound by the borders and walls of a particular place.
When asked why they are here, most students say it is because this is what they need to get ahead in life, whatever that may mean. It usually has much
to do with the brass ring, or the house on the top of the hill with the sports car in the driveway. For these people, the idea of an education appears to be
nothing more than job training. Could this type of training not be given at a technical school in half the time it would take to get an undergraduate
education? Many that have this attitude will come and go without ever receiving the true benefits of an undergraduate education.
Throughout history the idea of being educated has been one of a total body experience. The notion of a well–rounded person is one that is still talked
about today. The ancient Greeks incorporated both physical and mental exercises into their educational process. They were

Life is a struggle in itself, but to do well in life one must do well in school. The older generations view Generation Y as lazy "kids" who want to take

harder tasks are given. This new "Lazy" generation must defy all odds just to get through the crazy competition that is high school and college to

High school students took over three million AP exams in 2012 ("ANNUAL AP PROGRAM PARTICIPATION 1956

much high school students are competing today. The competition is so great that it even bleeds intomiddle school. Students try to take more advanced
classes in middle school so they can have a head start in high school. What's crazy is parents will even put their children in special "gifted"
elementary schools now to try to get an even earlier edge on the competition. "There has been a boom in the popularity of these programs in recent

Life at a Medieval University
Life at a medieval university for clerics was in many regards similar to our present day college experience. When college was in session, life was
basically split into two categories; life in the books, and life outside the books if you will. Scholars needed to focus their attention to the tasks at hand
during learning hours. As we know today, the more time you spend studying, the better grades you'll achieve. On the other hand, scholars needed a
release from the daily grind of constant academic involvement. This may have included some popular pastimes such as drinking, gambling, and
wreaking havoc downtown (nothing a modern student would do). The scholars experienced many of the problems that modern day collegians deal with

If you were at a university at this time, you would follow the religious standards, just as I could never get out of going to Friday mass at HGA.
Nowadays, religion is a touchy topic. It is left to the discretion of the individual whether or not he or she wants to follow the practices and how
closely. Church and state are now separated as to avoid major conflicts. Peter Abelard questions the theological teachings of medieval universities
and is criticized for it. He says "Is God one, or no?" At this time scriptures were not to be questioned and were considered to be true. As we know
now, science has become a major source of answers in society. Anyway, Abelard brings a whole new dimension to the table when he questions god's
existence and some of the things that the church stands for. The whole basis is to use logic and reason to ponder things in a philosophical fashion.
This faith vs. reason debate involved Abelard and others who felt that god was in a persons being, or heart. Academia took up most of the students
daily and weekly lives. Scholars took full advantage of down time to relax and enjoy themselves. Social life was the second major aspect of a cleric's
university experience. As we know, the student body greatly impacts the surrounding town's economy; however social issues arise as well. When
students and townspeople are in the same atmosphere, and drinking, fights are bound to break lose. These battles came to be known

But situation in some relative low quality University is quite different. For example, a study by Lim and See (2001) based in Singapore, which they
describe as 'one of the most competitive educational systems in the world', found that students
'are morally ambivalent about academic cheating and are rather tolerant of dishonesty among their peers. On the issue of whether cheating behaviors
should be reported...a majority of students chose to take the expedient measure of ignoring the problem rather than to blow the whistle on their peers'.
Motivation not only important in University but also in future working area . the reason less adult cheating than student is they not only have strong
motivation but also take plagiarism seriously . they realize they are truly participating in the society and nonsense to do such cheating thing .
For example , many studies have shown that academic staff and students have very different attitudes towards cheating and plagiarism (Stern &

influences the question of why students have begun to stray away from college in the last few years.
Mathew Bidwell, a professor at the Wharton University of Pennsylvania has found that "About 300,000 fewer students enrolled in college this fall

(5) It demonstrates that a significant benefit of ICNs lie in their tighter granularity in describing the network content, and that content knowledge can
improve network performance and perform better resource allocation.
II.WEAKNESS AND FLAWS
The work of this research is based on some assumptions are unrealistic and not applicable in the practical situation, these assumptions such as:
Assuming the network is stable so all the traffic coming into network leaves the network.
Considering that the node making the allocation has a global view of the domain, where the view is a measure of the congestion in the network.
Assuming that each node on the path keeps track of the amount of traffic allocated to the node 's outgoing links.
Assuming that transport mechanisms (say, TCP, or some form of interest
–shaping in ICN) shares the bandwidth in a fair manner among the different
flows. So the response time will not be affected by head–of–the–line blocking, but by how many flows are contending over a bottleneck resource.
III.PROPSALS FOR FUTURE WORKS
A number of open problems may be suggested for future works as follows:
Design multipath selection and allocation algorithms for robust traffic engineering in the underlay network core to deal with the uncertain traffic
fluctuation generated by overlay networks.
Present a dynamic programming (DP) approach for the computation of the minimum transportation cost paths

society is that you must have some sort of college education. Being a college student is seen as more respectable, rather then being a garbage man
or janitor because of the way society looks down upon these types of careers. Going to college and receiving a degree does not guarantee that a
person is going to get a job right after they graduate. It is sometimes hard for some graduates to find a good job because there is so much
competition with other graduates as well. Sometimes they may get a job and it could be in a totally different field of what they got their degree

and money because they learn nothing about their chosen field. They have to take classes that have nothing to do with their major but must take the
class to meet the core education requirement of the college. If these students receive a less than average grade in a class they feel is unneeded then
that lowers their overall GPA. The major reason of going to college is to get a good job. College prepares us with academic knowledge in order to

Or for the individual who find one's true interest, general education is more than worth the two years it takes to get through. So although the
couple of years a college student spends in general education may seem useless, it is important to recognize the value of it. It helps individuals by
showing them an array of possibilities that should be explored before one decides on his or hers life's career. It also builds interesting people who
are not just specialists, but who have a better understanding and appreciation for the world around them. Even though, as explained previously,
general education is valuable it does create stress for the student who is set on his/her major. For many students, especially those who go to state

With lack of financial aid students are not going to be able to afford college on their own. They are relying on their parents to help them, but is there
anything they can do?
In order to get a decent paying job, you have to have a college degree. Many people will not be able to go to college full time because they have to
work part–time or full–time to be able to afford college and can not move on to a higher paying job with out it. Low income students have always
struggled with college bills. Financial and political forces are making it harder than ever to get a college degree, which is crucial to getting a high
paying job (Philadelphia Inquirer, 1). It is extremely difficult to get a job and go to college full or part time, just to have a higher paying job. Many
students hope to avoid a soaring loan debt. They work long hours; take courses part–time and are commuting to college rather than living on campus.
These compromises greatly reduce chances of earning a college degree in a timely manner if at all (Philadelphia Inquirer, 1). As a result, students must
rely on even larger loan debt to get through school. Many students have to put off getting their degree and some never go back to get it.
Graduation rates have dropped because of the size of debt that students acquire while at school. Students nowadays are expected to pay all of their

College Readiness Theory Essay
The facets of college readiness theory also insists that taking action, as a student, through developing American–style learning skills and study methods,
will assist Chinese international students in taking control of their academic success. Such significant educational skills include practicing excellent
time–management, taking notes effectively, taking information to memory, possessing sufficiently well–developed reading skills, and the ability to
conduct teamwork should all be part of preemptive academic training that can keep Chinese international students focused and on task. Conley (2015)
wrote that all of the aforementioned skills are dependent upon Chinese international students having an excellent understanding of the capability
needed to transition into an American university setting. The facets of college readiness theory underscores that transition skills begin for international
students before setting out to fulfill their... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Chilisa and Tsheko (2014) stated that the qualitative approach is the best selection for a study to capitalize on real–life, personal experiences and
perceptions of study participants. Consequently, qualitative research will be employed in this study with ten international and local teachers, ten students
from grades nine through twelve, and five administrators from local high school international programs in Beijing, Wuhan, Jinhua, Shijiazhuang, and
Shaoxing, China. Etikan, Abubakar, Rukayya, and Alkassim (2016) state that purposive sampling is best suited for a study that consists of a
non–probability sample that is based on features of a population and the objective of the study. Therefore, the participants will be chosen based on their
experience and knowledge of Chinese international student preparation

NCAA Advertisement Analysis
For the advertisement part, Tyrone Prothro, a former baseball star of Alabama University, saw footage in a commercial of a famous catch he made in
the game. Also, according to one of the NCAA's vice presidents, Mark Lewis, NCAA has "licensed all of its archival footage from past NCAA
championships to a third–party licensing company, T3Media, which acts as the association's agent in licensing that footage for use in game
re–broadcasts, advertisements, and any other products" (O'Bannon vs. NCAA, P19). Even though T3Media was not permitted to license
student–athletes' footage, it still obtained the right to this footage after acquiring student–athletes' allowance. Therefore, the court found there was a

Stress Student
Outline for informative speech
Purpose: To inform the audience about student stress. Thesis: Today I will discuss about sources and effects of student stress and efficient ways to
manage this emotional and physical strain. Organizational Pattern: I. Introduction A. Attention Getter According to theStudent Living Report 2002, an
ongoing survey of student experiences carried out by MORI for the UNITE Group, more than half of students (53%) said they had become more
stressed since starting university.

1. More and more students have to pay for college on their own, or with little assistance from their parents. Learning how to live on one's own and
today's complicated financial world is stressful, and it's no wonder that some students would rather drop out and get a job rather than continue studing.
2. All the academic activities–clubs, jobs, teams, grades, assignments, classes a student has to accomplice form a big" ball" of stress. 3. Managing
time can be quite stressful for anyone as busy as the modern day college student. Many students lose sleep or feel as if they just don't have enough
time to accomplish what they need to accomplish. 4. Roommate conflict is almost the first one that comes as starting life on campus. College students
are forced to live with people who may have different values, beliefs, schedules, and habits than they do. There's nothing worse than having to sleep in
the same room as someone you'd normally hate or never talk to. 5. Many relationships are started (and ended) throughout college years. Those who are
in relationships have to deal with the stresses of arguments, seeing someone too much, seeing someone not enough and those pesky long–distance
relationships. Transition Now that we have covered all the essential sources of stress it will be most appropriate to continue with the effects of the stress.
B. Effects of student stress.

A Significant Issue in Education: Teacher BIAS
A significant problem of practice in education is teacher bias. Teacher bias has implications around race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality and
socioeconomic status. Teachers must be willing to examine their beliefs, acknowledge and overcome their biases. Teachers need to evaluate their
practices in relation to their ideals as well as recognize and assess the position of power they hold in their classrooms in order to be true Social Justice
Educators (Cooper, 2003).
According to the most recent data from the Department of Education, preschoolers who are racially diverse are being disciplined at a rate 3 times as
great as their white classmates (Rich, 2014). The Department of Education data shows 48 percent of preschool suspensions were ... Show more content

Schools rarely look at the effectiveness of the White teacher in relation to the Black student.
The student of color who survives this system and enters College continues to face issues around bias, stereotyping and oppression on predominantly
white campuses. The issues range from student to student bias, faculty to student bias, as well as racial profiling from police on and off campus.
Many colleges and universities have created Bias Acts Response Teams (BART). Some examples BART has dealt with on campus include:
Faculty members whose intent is to bring a student of color into the classroom conversation ends up asking the student to speak for their entire race.
Faculty member asks a Japanese American student about the conflict in Korea.
A student feels their contributions concerning the African American experience are disregarded.
Faculty members who are interested in offering assistance to a student whose native language is not English ends up offending the student by making
assumption about their citizenship.
Students in a classroom have a debate around race and one student says something that is offensive or reinforces a stereotype and the instructor says
nothing.
Students report that they are excluded from joining groups for group projects.
Students report sitting alone in a class with no one choosing a seat near them.
A recent study found about 50% of students encounter

Financing of University Education in Kenya
QN) With close reference to university education in Kenya, discuss the various means of financing education and evaluate the equity implications.
To answer this claim, we start by defining critical terms so as to clearly get the full meaning of this assertion.
Education is the process act or process of impacting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgement, and
generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life. It can also be defined as the process of acquiring desirable skills, attitudes and

this act mandates the central government to advance money to the public universities for running of the programmes and activities. The government
gives grants to the public universities and this money is budgeted for, in the ministry for higher education budget and this is captured in the annual
budget. The grants are given to all universities oblivious of the programmes that they offer. The government through the parliament passed a bill that
saw the creation of the Constituency Development Act that was aimed to rationalize development across the country by ensuring that all areas across
Kenya had a fair share of the money set aside for development. Through the various committees established in each constituency, students in the
universities are able to access bursaries to aid them in paying school fees. This bursary is given to people who are needy and who cannot afford tuition
fees. For the equal distribution of the funds, the Kenyan government is giving a lot of charters to the new mushrooming universities, this is to make
sure all the regions in the country get access to higher education hence equity implications. Higher Education Loans Board(H.E.L.B) is another source
of funding. H.E.L.B is a state corporation whose mandate is to source funds

Why College Education Is Important To Me

  • 1. Why College Education Is Important to Me "Why college education is important to me". By Janelle D. Crichlow EN110 Achieving Academic Excellence Ashworth College A college degree is important for a variety of reasons for both the young and the old, namely to develop or improve one's trade skills, to experience different cultures and to increase one's educational background in order to attain a higher paying job. For me, a college degree is important because it will help me to attain the educational background I need to make myself more marketable in the ever changing workforce. It will also provide me with the confidence and skills needed to apply for a better paying job or aid me in attaining the ever elusive promotion, if I so desire. John G. Ramsay, a professor at the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For me personally, the college degree obtained will aid me in being able to better complete the tasks to which I am assigned at work. It will also give my boss actual evidence that I have the necessary skills needed to be promoted to a higher and better paying position. A college degree will give me the knowledge base I need to compete in the workforce. College life makes it possible for students to meet and be acquainted with people from all works of life and to possibly build work contacts with these people later in life. It provides students with access to differing cultures, personalities and attitudes and provides students with the playground to learn to handle them. Due to the fact that a college student is exposed to varying subject matters, both in and out of his faculty, a student can demonstrate to his employee that he is better equipped to handle learning new concepts since he is more "well rounded" and knowledgeable in different areas, both in and out of his job scope. The efficiency at making and completing short, medium and long term goals, displayed by the student, allows the employer to ascertain how effective the employee will be at setting and achieving his goals and how effective he will be with time management and multitasking. In conclusion, a college degree will provide me with the hope and means of attaining the heights I intend to reach in my workplace. I associate them with my values. Knowing that the task at hand is essential to realizing my dreams, but I am unable to do it. I have thought about other ways to get around the problem, I keep getting back to the talent I'm missing. Accomplishing a new ability might feel like a huge undertaking. It's been my experience that if a talent is necessary in getting closer to achieving my dreams, education is not a bad thing after all. During this day and age, numerous individuals are going back to the school to further their education; due to many families having challenging times in making their ends meet. The employers are seeking individuals who possess college degrees; which inspires people to further their education. Having a college degree often leads individuals into a secure and a well–paying job in order to adequately support their family. In today's society and principles, individuals with a college degree are viewed to be more devoted, well–informed, teachable, and respected to potential businesses. Additionally, when I was younger and inexperienced, my day dreams were of going college and gaining the experience that would lead me to a successful career. Unnecessary time had passed; and unfortunately, I had to work instead of continuing on with school. Many of my older friends talked about their experiences, and my high school friends were also excited about the idea of joining the working class. After being employed with several jobs, I felt as if my life was not reaching full potential. My self–esteem became low and I felt distraught. Furthermore, I needed to motivate myself and decided to pursue my college degree. There is a point in everyone's life where they will have to become financially independent. • 3. College Professors Essay College Professors The first day of class for a college student is like drawing cards in a poker game. Just as the cards that one receives determines their outcome in poker, the types of professors a student gets on the first day will determine the success of their year. The difference between a helpful and a harmful professor can easily result in a much lower grade. College professors have a wide range of personalities and backgrounds. However, professors fall into one of 3 categories: helpful, malicious, or uncaring. One type of professor in the college system is the helpful professor. This professor has a sour attitude toward life in general; therefore they want the students to be miserable as well. Their lectures are never to the point and usually stray off to make some negative point about life. They encourage students to ask questions, but only so that they can make the person with the question feel incompetent for asking it. They are willing to talk with a student after class, but unlike the helpful professor, the malicious professor is only there to criticize. They will emphasize the student's faults but never point out their strengths, thus lowering the self–esteem of the student. The tests given by the malicious professor are vague, full of trickery, and composed of the most difficult material. These tests are not designed to survey the student's knowledge of the subject, but rather to trip them up and make them fail. If one works really hard it is possible to earn a good grade in this type of professor's class, but in general the grades will be as low as the malicious professor can make them. The third type of professor is the uncaring professor. This type of instructor has lost interest in teaching; therefore, they do not put any effort into it. This professor can be recognized by their monotonous tone of voice and lack of interest of the subject. Their lectures only cover the basics of the material. • 4. College: Is it Still worth it? Essay Elementary school, middle school, high school, college―that's how we're told our education careers should go. After college you go on and get a job based on the degree you received. Seems simple right? According to Erik Lowe in his Seattle Times article "Keep Washington's College Tuition Affordable," he informs that people in his generation are the first to be less educated than their parents, in the United States. He explains that this is due to the high cost of tuition followed by a huge amount of student loan debt. There needs to be a decrease of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Why does the tuition cost so much more? This leaves college students baffled and stressed about how much money they're paying and what they're even paying for. As it is, there is about $1 trillion in college debt in America. A Philadelphia Enquirer article warns that, "The average debt owed per person is $25,000 –– the highest level of student debt in the nation's history," and that the number is increased by tens of thousands of dollars for those who go on to get higher degrees. $25,000 is a lot but the reality is that a lot of people have even more than that. For example, what if someone goes to an expensive private college and their tuition is anywhere between 30 and 70 thousand per year. In total they could be paying between 120 and 240 thousand dollars per year. The majority of the country is most likely unable to easily pay for that and could end up with extensive amounts of debt just because they went to the college that they wanted to. Student's education shouldn't be compromised just because the school they want to go to has a high tuition. For example, when universities offer courses online, they can work around limited classroom space, instructor shortages, and conflicting course schedules to offer more students more classes. Similarly, in taking an online course that allows them to complete assignments at their own pace, students can work around their busy course and work schedules, as well as tailor their coursework to their own personal learning styles. • 9. College Students: Cheating and Morality Essay Introduction Academic dishonesty is a threat to every student and every institution of higher education. The very act runs contrary to the fundamental values of higher education (Bowers, 1964). Dishonesty compromises the integrity of the individual student as well as the reputation of the institution (Engler, Landau, & Epstein, 2008; Gallant, 2008). Many researchers have indicated that cheating is a serious problem on campuses (Bowers, 1964; Engler et al., 2008; Gallant, 2008; Leming, 1978; McCabe, Trevino, & Butterfield, 2001). While the problem of cheating has persisted in higher education, the perceived seriousness of cheating continues to change (McCabe & Trevino, 1996; Stephens, Young, & Calabrese, 2007). Notably, students with higher moral development levels view cheating more seriously than those with lower moral development levels (Leming, 1978; Semerci, 2006). While the process of going to college promotes students' moral development (King & Mayhew, 2002) and higher moral development levels correlate to lower incidences of cheating (Leming, 1978), determining the relationship between the two is necessary. Prior research has demonstrated a positive relationship between higher moral development levels and lower cheating incidences; however, most data is more than 30 years old (Leming, 1978). Since 1978, only three studies have been published relating moral development and cheating (Austin, Simpson, & Reynen, 2005; Leming, 1978; Semerci, 2006). This is a very frightening statistic that is a sad reality to many college students today. Students graduate and are shocked by the dollar amount they owe because of student loans. Sadly, most struggle to pay off these debts, and it often takes years to do so. Private universities tend to be more expensive then public universities, due to the fact they are not partially funded by the state where they are located. Now that the myth of Norwich offering scholarships that offset the cost making it the same cost as other schools has proven to be false, we can explore how this cost is hurting Norwich students and the university as well. College seeking students are facing a hard reality. They may not be able to attend the school they most desire if they can not get a good scholarship, or they will need to choose a school less desirable because it is among the few they can afford. William Cory, a 19th Century English schoolmaster said, "You go to school not for knowledge so much as for arts and habits." Why College Athletes Shouldn't Be Paid Why Not to Pay College Athletes After numerous scandals over the past several years of college athletes receiving improper benefits, the question has come up whether or not college athletes should be paid or not. College sports are a growing industry, and we have seen money destroy organizations, teams, and players in this industry. The determination and motivation of college athletes supersedes professional athletes by their will to win; therefore, college athletes should not be paid. The law that prevents college athletes from receiving money is called Title IX. Title IX was passed in 1972, and states that all money should go equally for all sports and no team should be excluded. Most colleges typically lose money on most of their sporting teams, and with the income from the few sport teams they are able to provide for other students. Since a lot of colleges are losing money in the industry, they wouldn't be able to pay the athletes if they don't generate revenue. This would cause students to go to colleges that make money knowing they would be getting paid, compared to a college that doesn't have financial stability to pay athletes. College would not be college anymore. The universities would become franchises and inevitably turn into a smaller version of the NFL. The law Title IX makes it mandatory for each team to provide the same amount of benefits to each student. From the incomes to these few sports, the less popular sports at schools would be cut because they do not have enough revenue coming in to pay the players. College Is a Waste of Time and Money Essays Hayley Drummond Professor Dill Tuesday, Thursday 8:00–9:15 Essay # 1 Summary September 10, 2011 Caroline Bird's essay "College is a Waste of Time and Money" explains her beliefs on why, for some people, going to college is an ineffective and inefficient use of their time. She states that many students do not belong in college because they are there for the wrong reasons and they are not happy learning. She also gives evidence to suggest that going to college and getting a degree does not actually allows a person to make more money in their life time. Her final claim is that college does not prepare most students for the real world and the jobs they will have once they graduate. Bird believes most students are not in college for ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Bird's second point is that, contrary to popular belief, college is not the best monetary investment a young person can make. Bird explains this by comparing the money that would be spent on education versus money that is put in a bank for interest. The outcome shows investing money that would otherwise be spent on a college education would earn over half a million dollars more than the earnings of a male college graduate compared to a non–graduate. Bird also states that even if a graduate makes more money in their job than a non–graduate, there is no evidence that the higher income is due to their college education. She attributes financial success to luck rather than a college education. In this argument she mainly puts forth logical reasons why college is not for everyone. She shows actual dollar amounts that logically prove an education is not necessarily the most profitable investment. Bird's final point is that college does not prepare most people for the jobs they are going to have in the future. She states the work attached to most jobs is totally unrelated to their college education. For example, although there are many graduates with a psychology degree, there are only so many jobs in psychology. The remaining graduates are forced to find jobs with work unrelated to the degree they have obtained. The university, or the "school." Students come each year to campuses such as the University of Arkansas, or the University of Texas to begin their undergraduate education. These campuses are a group of ever–changing buildings and monuments that make up what people think of as, "the university." The definition of a school according to Webman's Unabashed Dictionary, is as follows. "A group of humans moving together through the mind." This suggests that the university, or any school for that matter, is not bound by the borders and walls of a particular place. When asked why they are here, most students say it is because this is what they need to get ahead in life, whatever that may mean. It usually has much to do with the brass ring, or the house on the top of the hill with the sports car in the driveway. For these people, the idea of an education appears to be nothing more than job training. Could this type of training not be given at a technical school in half the time it would take to get an undergraduate education? Many that have this attitude will come and go without ever receiving the true benefits of an undergraduate education. What's crazy is parents will even put their children in special "gifted" elementary schools now to try to get an even earlier edge on the competition. When college was in session, life was basically split into two categories; life in the books, and life outside the books if you will. Scholars needed to focus their attention to the tasks at hand during learning hours. As we know today, the more time you spend studying, the better grades you'll achieve. On the other hand, scholars needed a release from the daily grind of constant academic involvement. Peter Abelard questions the theological teachings of medieval universities and is criticized for it. He says "Is God one, or no?" At this time scriptures were not to be questioned and were considered to be true. As we know now, science has become a major source of answers in society. Anyway, Abelard brings a whole new dimension to the table when he questions god's existence and some of the things that the church stands for. The whole basis is to use logic and reason to ponder things in a philosophical fashion. This faith vs. reason debate involved Abelard and others who felt that god was in a persons being, or heart. Academia took up most of the students daily and weekly lives. Scholars took full advantage of down time to relax and enjoy themselves. Social life was the second major aspect of a cleric's university experience. As we know, the student body greatly impacts the surrounding town's economy; however social issues arise as well. II.WEAKNESS AND FLAWS The work of this research is based on some assumptions are unrealistic and not applicable in the practical situation, these assumptions such as: Assuming the network is stable so all the traffic coming into network leaves the network. Considering that the node making the allocation has a global view of the domain, where the view is a measure of the congestion in the network. Assuming that each node on the path keeps track of the amount of traffic allocated to the node 's outgoing links. Assuming that transport mechanisms (say, TCP, or some form of interest –shaping in ICN) shares the bandwidth in a fair manner among the different flows. So the response time will not be affected by head–of–the–line blocking, but by how many flows are contending over a bottleneck resource. III.PROPSALS FOR FUTURE WORKS A number of open problems may be suggested for future works as follows: Design multipath selection and allocation algorithms for robust traffic engineering in the underlay network core to deal with the uncertain traffic fluctuation generated by overlay networks.
