2. Environment of Presentation and Materials Used
The environment where I conducted my pitch was in MS1. I used
the smart board to display my Prezi which I made already prior to
the presentation. Moreover, the camera used was a Nikon DSLR on
a Sony tripod situated near to my presentation. For the fluidity of
the presentation I was going to use a slide changer(clicker) to
reduce interruptions, however was not working at the time.
3. Evidence of Pitch
When I was presenting my pitch I was recorded on a camera that meant I was able to look back on it
later on. This viewing the strengths and weaknesses based on the impacts that I gained from my
peers and teacher. Moreover, it is great to watch back at the presentation as I can personally gain
knowledge to improve aspects to how I deliver a similar pitch next time. One weakness that I believe
I have is confidence. I knew the topics I was talking about however did not convey my PowerPoint
the way I laid the script out. Most of the content that was previously on the PowerPoint was short
handed on the script to centre the pitch around me. In addition, I also need to speak up next time.
Throughout the video, you can make out what I am saying but cannot hear me as well as others did.
Next time I could look up more often without mainly using the script. Moreover, using the script just
as a prompt.
4. Prezi Presentation
This is the website which I used to present my pitch to my peers. Prezi is a useful
presentation website as I have to ability to easily important the Microsoft Powerpoint
and create appealing transitions which can make a presentation that much more
professional. My Prezi pitch is roughly 48 slides and included majority of the content
which was being assessed.
5. Survey Monkey
I use survey monkey to help contribute to my LO5. This is
where I analysed the pie charts and parts of my
presentation where I did not particularly do well. The
survey monkey was very easy to use and was beneficial
to me as I could customise the survey to my needs. My
questions were mainly to do with my magazine as well as
how I presented the pitch. Moreover, survey monkey
allowed me to collate my results in pre-made charts
which made it easier for me to analyse the results I
achieved from my peers.
