2. Question 1: In what ways does your media product use,
develop or challenge forms and conventions of real
media products?
In this question I would be talking about the conventions of my front page,
double page and contents page of my AfroVibe has to a real professional one
and also with my photography I will compare.
And I will be using PowerPoint to show the comparison between each
magazines because I think this is an easy technology to show that and doing it
in a organised neat way of presenting.
But I’m using slideshare for it to be embedded on to my blogger.
3. Question 2: How does your media product represent particular social
groups?
Doing this question on spiderscribe would make me expand on one subject and be
easy for me to talk about every social groups like age, gender, ethnicity and more
that my media product represents to meet the targets.
Spiderscribe is a creative way of showing my ideas, which I have a lot and I think
that spiderscribe can help me to separate the information into groups.
I would be able to provide images on spiderscribe, so it won’t be full of plain text,
especially when I’m talking about social groups their needs to be images.
4. Question 3: What king of media institution might distribute
your media product and why?
For this question, it’s a professional way to keep it simple and use powerpoint then
embed in slideshare to post on my blog.
Using powerpoint is easiest technology to use for me because I use it all the time, so I
would have no problem answering this question.
Only because we are talking about publishers, which helps magazines be successful in
getting their audiences I want to show a professional mood. So the creative way of
presenting this question would not be acknowledged as much like the other questions,
since this question would probably be looked on the answer more. But i will add design
to the slide to make it still appealing.
5. Question 4: Who would be the audience for your
media product?
Powtoon is a visual and entertaining way of allowing me to use images and text to explain the
question in a 1 minute video compared to a slide full of paragraphs and this would also make the
audience be engaged more.
It would be easy for me to explain it in a media kit, what my audience would be and I would be
using pie charts and bar charts to class the ages, ethnicity and others in a easy and clear way.
Reason for making a media kit, is because I want my magazine,AfroVibe to be like the real ones
who has one and this makes my magazine professional.
6. Question 5: How did you attract/address your
audience?
Prezi is another creative way of presenting and is like a slide show, but a
mind map at the same time with the layout and transitions to the next
slide. Prezi would help me show my ideas in a interesting way. I would
also be using images like screenshots to give evidence of my ideas and it
will give a visual effect to support my text.
7. Question 6:What have you learnt about technologies
from the process of constructing this product?
On this question, the technology I would be using is Emaze, because this presents my
answer in a visual creative way for my audience to read. Emaze creates slideshows
as video presentations and 3D presentations and this would make question 6 more
interesting and eye-catching.
It would be easy to show what I have learnt about technologies I have used ( indesign,
photoshop, illustrator, camera and lightings ) in the process of AfroVibe in a neat
presentable way on emaze.
8. Question 7: Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel
you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?
Using Prezi the second time for a question shows this is my second technology that I’m
familiar with I can work with easily cause I’ve used it before.
I would be able to explain the question properly and make it clear for others to read it.
Prezi can also help me separate my ideas into groups on each slide when it comes to
explaining the things I have learnt in progression of AfroVibe.
