The Social Network
On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer
programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his
computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury
of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room
soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in
communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later,
Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest billionaire in history... but for
this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal
complications.

trailer to build tension, tensions is typical for a drama genre.

Well known actors used in the film to promote to the audience. More likely to see
the film with familiar charactors.
4. Transformers:

Transformers: Dark of The Moon
Autobots Bummblebee, Rachet, Ironhide and
Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action
taking on the evil Decepticons, who are eager to
avenge their recent defeat. The Autobots and
Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race
between the U.S. and Russia, to reach a hidden
Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon and learn its
secrets, and once again Sam Witwicky has to come to
the aid of his robot friends. New villain, Shockwave,
who rules Cybertron, is on the scene
while the Autobots and Decepticons
Continue to battle it out on Earth.

- Voice over dialogue – shouting creates once again a tense atmosphere.
-Edited sounds e.g. robots/ crashing, explosions.
Editing:

- Jump shots throughout the trailer builds up excitement ( typical action)

-Explosions, Creation of Robots, CG filming – great promotion to the
audience.
-Once again, well known actors and hot girl are used to promote the film.

6. Superbad
Superbad
Seth, Evan and Fogell are three teenage guys who love
to drink and desperately wish to get laid. When a girl
that Seth really likes, asks him to get the drink for her
party, he sees this as a perfect opportunity to make her
his girlfriend. The trio plan out how to get the alcohol,
even including Fogell's new fake ID, but things won't got
smoothly for the trio. Seth and Evan become separated
from Fogell (now called McLovin) and they still haven't
got the alcohol for the party that night.
7. Sounds:
-Positive music linking with a typical comedy drama
- Voice Over dialogue, shows the main jokes in the film to promote the
film
Editing:
-Music stops at times so the comedy lines are dominant.
-Trailer shots give a good suggestion as to what the film is about.
