Rockstars trailer of Bully is a typical example of their marketing techniques to
provoke a controversial reaction. The trailer includes game play and cut scenes
containing violence, sex and strong language to appeal to their target audience
which is for ages 16+. The trailer also gives sufficient information about what
platform it is released on and what date it is released.

Bully was released on Playstation 2 and available in all good retailers.
Trailers came from internet, e.gyoutube.com and TV advertising.
5. Reviews
The main general negative feedback from critics and reviews was the games
controversial issues. Sexuality playing a big part with one of the missions involving
the main character Jimmy going to the girls down to steal some underwear.
But despite this Bully has received generally positive reviews from critics. The
game received ratings of 8.9/10 from IGN, 9.0/10 from Games Radar, a perfect
10/10 from 1UP.com, 8.7/10 from GameSpot, 5/5 from JIVE Magazine, 8.75/10
from VGRC.net, a 5/5 from X-Play, and made the Top 10 Games of '06 in PlayStation
Magazine. Canis Canem Edit also got 9/10 from OPS2 Magazine. Critics generally
praised the game's storyline, while they complained about particular stealth
missions, as well as the camera.
6. Financial Details
• As of 12 March 2008, the PlayStation 2 version of Bully has sold 1.5 million copies
according to Take-Two Interactive.
