different genres, embedding the trailer and writing bullet points about
each of them.

• A lot of different key shots are used to show important parts like
the main characters in action (the tiger and pi) and best bits of the
film also in non-chronological order this adds the tension, we also
see the setting of the film and this may interest people as it seems
to mainly the sea.
• Mentions the award winning director Ang Lee and that it is a best
selling novel this makes the film get a better reputation, it also
means people who have read the novel will want to watch the film.
• Sound affects of crashing waves, rain and screaming at the start of
the trailer adds to the tension straight away.

the film more there is also text to show the narrative ‘life doesn't have to be
perfect’ as we see the girl has some sort of health problem.

director romance films such as ‘Struck in Love’ so will be known for this genre.

and the end, this is effective in starting and ending the film as it makes her face
memorable and makes you remember the film trailer to then watch it.
