• Executive enforces the laws made by the
legislature. It executes decisions & administers
laws.
• No state can exists without the executive, the
most important organ of government.

• Diplomatic Powers

• Military Powers
5. Diplomatic Power
• It’s National power. It is duty of executive to
create good relation with other country.
• As the head of the state, the president sends &
receive ambassadors, and other diplomatic
representatives.
• Ex. Russia, China, USA, South Africa etc.
6. Emergency Powers
• The constitution arms the president with
enormous emergency powers.
• There are three kinds of emergency powers.
1. State Emergency – Article 356
2. National Emergency – Article 352
3. Financial Emergency – Article 360
7. Military Powers
• The head of the executive body is the Supreme
Commander of Defence Forces of country.
• He has a power to declare a war and peace.
• The parliament is empowered to regulate or
control the exercise of the Military powers by
the President.
