Intended Audience
My target audience for my advert is women ages 16-25. From
my personal opinion I feel that unisex online shops appeal
more to women and that the adverts are targeted towards
women more than men therefore I decided to not make my
clothing line one for men and women, but just for women, this
will also work out easier when it comes to creating my ancillary
tasks. I made the age range from teenager to young woman so
I can include the student discount scheme which is introduced
from college/sixth form years throughout to university.

Online stores like missguided influenced me with the idea of a
student discount and this also allows me to achieve the intended
audience as it attracts people of the student age.

Appealing to the intended audience
To appeal to my intended audience and to achieve their interest
in my clothing line, within my ancillary tasks I will use models of
the same age and I will use women. Also for the ancillary task
of my sponsorship sequence I will use the beat or the song of a
popular song which young people listen to, and one that may
be heard within a club, this will allow my ancillary task to appeal
to them as they will recognize it and like it and therefore there
is a chance they will be interested in my clothing line.

This is from missguided, they have used a young
model who seems like they are 18- their young 20’ s.
Many adverts use this like boohoo and asos, I will
also do this.
