3. Front cover mood board
• The mood board on the previous slide shows
different magazine covers and images that
could be used on a front cover. This shows
different poses that would fit in with the
genre of my magazine and what camera angle
and lighting to use. A lot of the images are
either close ups or mid shots and none of
them show the whole body of the artist/band.
This will help me when deciding on poses for
my magazine cover.

5. Contents page mood board
• The mood board on the previous slide shows
various contents pages from magazines which
fit in with the genre of my choice. There are a
lot more images used on contents pages and
the layout is a lot different to a front page. The
images can be long shot as well showing a lot
more of the artist/band. The camera angles
and lighting varies on each picture giving the
reader a more interesting page to look at.

• The mood board on the previous slide shows
various images that would typically be used
on a magazine double page spread. These will
help me because when creating my magazine I
will know what styles of photographs to use
and what looks good and what doesn’t
