  1. Thank you for taking the time to join us today.My name is Bert Carr with the Kronos Cloud Services team at Kronos.I built my first microprocessor based system or personal computer in 1987; designed and built the hardware, wrote the software and integrated with a robot arm for a final project. From there I went to work for Kronos; they had just introduced their first PC based solution TimeKeeper Central.I work with Jeff to help customers understand our Cloud Service offerings.Admittedly I try to cover a lot so if we get to something you really want to discuss; please feel free to stop me.We would be happy to answer questions.I will leave you with my contact information at the end of this presentation if there are other questions that you may want to ask.

Our objective has always been to reduce payroll expenses by perfecting a paycheck.We provide real-time actionable information for managers and employees.We accomplish this by creating a real-time workforce management solution that controls labor costs, minimizes compliance risks and improves workforce productivity.Not an easy task but we’ve had over 30 years to work on it based on customer input.In short, we began this journey by living with the responsibility of a phone call from a boss saying “what do you mean I can’t pay my people” ; well as you can image, that just can’t happen.Therefore, these type of workforce management systems must be rock solid reliable and easy to use.An easy to use LEAN LABOR solution for organizations to utilize for competitiveness and peace of mind.

The evolution for us has been based on customer demand.What if you don’t have the time or the resources to maintain and manage your system?Do you have internal IT resources to complete the upgrade? If so, do they have the time to do it? Do you have the skills to evaluate and test service packs and change control within the environment? What if your organization buys another company. Who can integrate the employees into your Kronos environment? New functionality is available. Can you take advantage of it?These are good things to consider when evaluating the use of Kronos Cloud Services; I just completed a contract with a customer who has about 3,700 employees for managed services; they want us to do Application Updates, Application Configuration changes; Monitoring services; even Allowance hours for special projects over the next 2 to 3 years that the application manager will not have the time or resources for; they are outsourcing Tier 1 calls to Cyber and everything else regarding Kronos WFC will go through us.

We continue to offer flexible services and solutions; it is a big differentiator for us because a lot of companies can only do one way or the other; not both.For example some can only do a SaaS solution; whereas we give you the choice how to deploy and manage.Additionally, you are an instance so you still have control; no forced upgrades or updates; our customers have asked for this; we will keep you informed with regards to the upgrades and update but you will open the service ticket. So, we Determine your payment methods and you deploy and manage the system however you wantIn your datacenter or ours; whatever suits your requirements; we aim to do as much as you would like us to do; you know your resources and capabilities better than us.Or maybe you don’t; we can help make determinations there as well; either way, we can help.Do you have any questions?

So, how do we do it?Here’s a high level view of the cloud services technology stack which we offer, whether you choose to deploy in your own data center or in the Kronos CloudIf you keep things in house, your IT team will take care of your physical infrastructure, servers and operating system, but we can handle everything else, from maintaining your database to making configuration changes to things like business rules and interfaces or any change that happens over time. If you’d rather just use your software, we can take care of everything for you with our Cloud Hosting. And if you want us to take care of your configuration changes, we can do that too…
  7. We plug in to the natural life cycle for any software deployment by directly handling the ongoing support issues in any IT environment.And, we find that this is exactly where things start to break down a bit no matter how well the implementation was done, what people learned and continue to support.Most companies can’t find the time to be as good at what we do every day for our customers.Cloud Services, like so many other things we have done was requested by our clients because they keeping up with changes and updates or are focused on their own internal core business IT objectives.The fact that these systems continue to get more sophisticated doesn’t make it any easier.
